A few words
"When we describe the Moon as dead, we are describing the deadness in ourselves. When we find space so hideously void, we are describing our own unbearable emptiness." ~ D.H. Lawrence "Is the meaning of life defined by its duration? Or does life have a purpose so large that it doesn't have to be prolonged at any cost to preserve its meaning?" "Living is not good, but living well. The wise man, therefore, lives as well as he should, not as long as he can... He will always think of life in terms of quality not quantity... Dying early or late is of no relevance, dying well or ill is... even if it is true that while there is life there is hope, life is not to be bought at any cost." ~ Seneca "People will tell you nothing matters, the whole world's about to end soon anyway. Those people are looking at life the wrong way. I mean, things don't need to last forever to be perfect." ~ Daydream Nation "All Bette's stories have happy endings. That's because she knows where to stop. She's realized the real problem with stories-- if you keep them going long enough, they always end in death." ~ The Sandman: Preludes & Nocturnes "The road now stretched across open country, and it occurred to me - not by way of protest, not as a symbol, or anything like that, but merely as a novel experience - that since I had disregarded all laws of humanity, I might as well disregard the rules of traffic. So I crossed to the left side of the highway and checked the feeling, and the feeling was good. It was a pleasant diaphragmal melting, with elements of diffused tactility, all this enhanced by the thought that nothing could be nearer to the elimination of basic physical laws than deliberately driving on the wrong site of the road." ~ Vladimir Nabokov, Lolita "It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend." ~ William Blake Think about it Musicalities! Kill that boredom!

The only bad thing about lip rings that I heard where they tend to mess up your front teeth cuz you hit it with your wring a lot...I guess the same is true for tongue piercings too...lol... Get a piercing...if you don't like it, take it out...lol » lazypuppy on 2006-10-19 10:24:44 I've heard that lip piercings hurt, but I guess it depends on the person as well. I've gotten a few things pierced and the one that hurt the most was my industrial, but only afterwards. Oh well. Tattoos? I have one and I'm planning on getting at least 5 more. One of the 5 I'm getting done in Dec. Its going to be awesome. And Lazypuppy is right; get the piercing, if you don't like it, then you can just take it out. . . . hehe sorry the comment is so long. :P » LostSoul13 on 2006-10-19 11:18:51 hey randomjunk! Didn't David Marchand chip his tooth on his tongue ring? Parents, ug... Well at least she didn't say, but reckon you're the one who has to live with it the rest of your life. Heck, start now with a tattoo also so it can get all stretched and wrinkled and distorted as you get older ROFL This picture is creeping me out! LOL I'll have nightmares to night! » JMC on 2006-10-20 03:55:01 Woah, you're lucky! My mum said she would kick me out of the house even if I got my nose pierced. I think lip rings are hot. Would you get it in the middle or on the side? A couple of my friends have snake bites. I'm not so sure about them. I always used to want a very small tattoo on the palm of my hand, sort of on one of the pads underneath my fingers... If that makes sense. I don't know if you can get them there though. Good luck with it! :) » sarah on 2006-10-20 08:45:21 I had not heard the drooling thing, but I suppose that could happen. My roomate when I first moved to Denver had a lip ring and I don't ever remember her drooling out of it...lol » lazypuppy on 2006-10-20 01:23:43 well...with all piercings, there's risk of infection. At one point, I had nine piercings...and fortunately, only one of them got infected to the point I couldn't keep it in (that was my eyebrow...I must have slept on my face or something...it never healed up quite right). As long as you take care of your piercing and make sure it's clean and all of that, you'll be fine :) I think the thing with the mouth though...you're eating and you can get food and all that stuff, but honestly...there's bacteria in your mouth that cleans things in your mouth...so...ya know. I'd just read up on it before you go out and do it. » lazypuppy on 2006-10-20 05:33:23
