Life Decisions and SuperBowl
Sunday. 2.6.11 5:44 pm
It seems like I have a habit of trying to coerce my friends into making life decisions for me.

Like that one time I kept on thinking about my future careers and I practically sat with a bunch of friends and make them think up of something for me. Obviously most of them played around saying things like getting a Ph.D to become a janitor or a painter, etc. So the conversation didn't produce any good results...

And most of the time, I don't listen to them.

Why do I do it though? I think it's because I want them to bear SOME responsibilities for my life. If I think that there are some people who are partly responsible for my life, the whole idea of growing up isn't so scary afterwards. Plus, other people have better ideas for my future.

-----

My family comes from Texas. My mother is a Texan, my brother is a Texan, I'm a Texan. The only non-Texan in our family is my little sister who is born in Canada. Else, we're all Texan.

With that said, my mom is a BIG fan of football. Now I know this sounds like a stereotype, but when I was in Texas, our TV would always be on. We would always watch football.

Superbowl Sunday is on RIGHT NOW, and her yellings can be heard throughout the whole neighborhood. I'm not a fan of any sports in general, I usually watch these just for the music performances. Either way, she proves to be an avid fan tonight with her lungs.

Everyone is rooting for Steelers, so I guess I am too.....?

Oh and look at that! It's hosting in Dallas! If I was still living in Austin, I would have a bigger pride since it's so near me.

But now my pride is only a little high because I was raised up in Texas, that's all =_="

When a man slaps a woman...
Monday. 11.8.10 4:07 pm
We had this discussion today in English class. One person said that in a relationship, there are ups and downs, and people fight to express their emotions. If a person refuses to lay their hands on their partner, that's just equivalent to giving it up, and not giving it a chance. Therefore, guy should lay their hands on a girl if they want to continue on with the relationship.

What. Duh. Heo.

Okay, I have never been in love, but if the guy lays his hands on me and I CAN'T lay my hands on HIM. There's going to be some serious issues going on.

Either you hurt me and let me hurt you back and we both get hurt together with the same amount of bruises, or you don't hurt me at all.

I'm not being a feminist, but c'mon... A man shouldn't hurt his woman. Yeah jokingly smacking their butt, sure (if they think it's okay), but slapping her across the face 'occasionally' or 'during a fight'? Control yourself =_= Hit a pillow or something.

Now if that's 'true love', fine. I'll let him hit me. Then when he's sleeping. I'm going to make sure ALL HELL GETS LOSE and that he is unable to retaliates a single kungfu karate chop that I learn from The Karate Kid and uses on him.

(I mean the new one since it's a mix between karate and kungfu... No?)

Mark my words, my future husband.
