Sunday. 6.7.09 11:53 am
Dear Diary,

Tomorrow until Thursday (i think so) ill become a part time tour guide again around Penang area, haha, because my brother's in law is coming for a visit, and i was given a task to bring them around (only the 2 parents in law).

some of u must be wandering, aiyo brother's in law, why am i the one being the tour guide, this is because years ago while i study at KL, i get to know his in law quite close, so my parents asked me to bring them around. @@''

What to do, my parents r busy... so they are only free during the night....

now my dad is super busy, with the fence (half way building), the claims (rumors spread that the Insurance company is going to..... sigh) so have to claims fast, and etc etc.... my house is like a construction side now...... thanks to the stupid bus.. so my dad have to be at home to over see the construction process... so he is busy too...

1. Kek Lok Si Temple
2. Sleeping Buddha Temple
3. Snake Temple (maybe?)

31July-2August 2007 Langkawi Trip Part 1
Friday. 8.10.07 1:10 pm
Dear Diary,

Lol, im back from my trip around 1 week, and i decided is time to post it...:D
On 30th July me n my friend only decided to buy a ferry ticket (see we r insane)and luckily there r 2 more or else we have to swim to Langkawi since the hotel room was booked 1 week b4.

So on the 31st July, 7am, my parents fetched me n my friend to the port and around 730am we reach there and by 8am we queued to get into the ferry, by the time we r in,lol the seats were fully occupied (of course there were still some places to sit) so after settle down, i busied myself with photoes taking while others were excited about the ride.

the sea wave was shacky and luckily b4 i step on the ferry i swallowed a pill that keep me away from sea sick, however, in the ferry, there was a tourist that cant stand the wave and actually vomit... :( and the ride took 3hours plus to arrive...

Yeah we finally arrived safe n sound

We manage to get a rental car for rm150 - 3 days Proton Waja Manual... so my friend drove since i cant even know how to change the gear manually after i pass my license...

Since check in time is 3pm, so we have plenty of time to hang out, and i decided to go to Mahsuri Maiden Tomb... (lol i know im budak kampung but this is my very 1st time to visit Langkawi so what to do)

And after the visit, we continued our journey to the hotel, and by the time i reach there, lots of angry tourists making noise at the reception counter.. Sigh, i think the receptionist poorly trained that pissed the customer off... dont even know how to apologize... just imagine, the queue were not organised, i was standing like 30min in order to get myself check in, and some tourist waited for 4 Hours..., and some cut my queue.. (lol am i that easy to get bully?)

Worse still, when i reach my room (is a chalet) the door cant open, the door is lock or what so ever that i have to wait for 10 minutes before some one came to rescue.. i was so mad at that time... the weather was so hot, and once the door cant open, i called and complaint and i need to wait for 10 more minutes... WOAH... but what to do... bad management, bad training ... :( [ada banyak customers, dah kalang kabut, macam mana la]

after all the hassle, tada, we went out for dinner, and i started to hunt chocolates muahaha.. is so cheap but i buy only a few ( not enough $$) and u know my dinner at Langkawi is gross ( i mean the 1st nite) look at the oily soaking plate, and just imagine the food i order is soaking wet with the oil

all the left over were "pig oil block"

we kind of good girl, so we went back straight to the hotel after the chocolate shopping... and zzzzzzzzzz hahaha of course we took turns to shower and while my friend showering, im kept myself busy with One Child by Torey Hayden [see im crazy]

Early in the morning, we planned to wake up at 7am, but end up at 8am... lol and after all the cleaning and etc, we headed out to 1st destination... Telaga Tujuh - 7 well waterfall...
we had ourself jogging... cause we have to climb up the stair (very far away) to reach the waterfall and this is only half way to the 7 well... here is the half way waterfall.... drool

and after all the fun [by the way thats my leg which my friend decided to take a photo] we climb up and up and up and up to the 7 well and ... i'm dead tired

while climbing down, look what i found?

Monkeys r awake... and ruled the forest.... muahaha

and our next station was emergency turn to the beach.. omg, i turned into kiddo when i saw beach... i love it so so much and i was running and jumping around... hahaha

and my next station... of course is.... GO-KART.. lmao i love it i love it so so much muahaha 10 min for rm35 is like 10 usd...

the track

im tired and sleepy now...
so...

to be continue...

Dear FINAL FANTASY Fans,
Happy Holidays! I cannot believe a whole year has passed since our premiere of Distant Worlds: music from FINAL FANTASY in Stockholm. I am excited to announce on our one-year anniversary that we will be visiting even more cities in 2009! We have confirmed concerts all around the world, including many concerts in the USA and for the first time ever in Asia!

Our first concert of 2009 will take place at the historic Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on April 11th. And our great friend, Nobuo Uematsu will be in attendance! A special VIP meet & greet will be available to a limited number to meet Nobuo Uematsu and myself in person after the show! Please check ffdistantworlds.com/minneapolis for more details and to purchase tickets.

I am happy to announce that more post concert meet & greet tickets have been made available for Grand Rapids. They are only available by phone, so call today and do not miss out on a chance to hang out after the concert with Uematsu-san and me. We will be signing autographs after the concert exclusively for fans with meet and greet tickets.

A lot of fans have asked us when we will be visiting the east and west coasts of the U.S. and I want to thank you so much for your kind and encouraging words. Your requests have been helpful in planning concerts in these regions in 2009. Today, you can buy tickets to see Distant Worlds: music from FINAL FANTASY in Seattle with the Seattle Symphony for two shows only on July 10th and 11th at 8:00pm. The Emmy award winning Seattle Symphony orchestra will be performing in Benaroya Hall - S. Mark Taper Auditorium, noted for its architectural and acoustical splendor.

Tickets will also be on sale soon for two more USA cities: May 16th with the Baltimore Symphony in Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, a gorgeous venue known for its pristine acoustics and versatility and July 17th and 18th with the Grammy award winning San Francisco Symphony! I know everyone has been waiting for these, so keep checking ffdistantworlds.com for info about these exciting events.

Asia tour!

We are excited to perform Nobuo Uematsu's music of Distant Worlds: music from FINAL FANTASY on tour in Asia in 2009! In May, we will travel to Taipei and Singapore for two concerts in each city. Distant Worlds will make its Asian premiere in Taiwan at the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall, and in Singapore we are proud to be part of the Singapore Arts festival for two concerts on the 22nd and 23rd at 7:30pm in the Esplanade Theatres on the Bay. Tickets will be on sale in March 2009.

Holiday Contest!

With each newsletter, we plan on bringing special offers available only to our fans. As an exclusive offer we are announcing a CD, T-shirt, and concert program give-away just in time for the holidays. The official concert T-shirt and program are usually only available at the live concerts and not online so don't miss this great opportunity to win these gifts. Our CD, Distant Worlds: music from FINAL FANTASY is rapidly becoming the definitive recording of FINAL FANTASY music. To participate, simply sign up and forward this newsletter to one of your friends, and you will be automatically entered in the drawing. Five lucky winners will be chosen at random from our list.
