It been awhile i did not update, and today gonna be very short too, because i cant think of anything to write, not even a poem, a story, or etc etc. but to tell u , my dog love durian, lol she enjoy the smell of the durian that not every individual on this earth love it...

So she is truly Malaysian dog.... lol

Yesterday was a total mix feeling of sadness (long stories) and happiness. The morning, after knowing the news, I nearly burst into tears, but I try not to since I have to work in the morning. Once the sun up on the sky, shinning us with bright lights and aggressive heat, I received a package all the way from United Kingdom.

Once I saw “Mail Bag” I know immediately it is a book that I been waiting for months “Cry myself to sleep” by Joe Peters (since Malaysia not available yet – maybe only my state), and I know who the sender too, who else if is not the Author himself who is kind enough to send me the book with the signature too. Now his second book had become my rarest collection in my bookshelf, besides LJS’s books.

My 1st encounter of this author was simply the title “Cry Silent Tears” and the book cover. Once I read through the 1st chapter in the bookstore, immediately I grab the book and pay at the counter which cost me RM77.90 (because it was a hardcover book). No regret buying it, because it is an eye opening to the world I never thought it will actually happened. An eye opening and new knowledge of what pedophile mean and is.

The second book "Cry Myself to Sleep" will talked about his survival when he runaway from the hell he been living in for years. And I can’t make any book review yet because I’m yet to finish the book although I already finished till chapter 12 in one day~. Haha

At my previous post of stating my happiness of receiving the second book �Cry Myself to Sleep� from Joe Peters had finally finished reading in 2 days. (I know I�m abit crazy).

Cry Myself to Sleep by Joe Peters, is another book followed by his first book Cry Silent Tears about his abusing childhood by a person that meant to be protecting him instead of hurting him. After years of abusive mother and her boyfriend as well as Uncle Douglas (Paedophile Ringleader), at the last page of Cry Silent Tears he managed to flee from these evils. At last he get to taste the freedom he been dreaming off. Which the stories continue in the second book ~ Cry Myself to Sleep.

The stories continue as a life journey Joe Peters when through, of how he survived and become a remarkable man that we the readers respect now. The purpose of this book had become an eye opener to the world of how he survived and suppress his darkest secret to become a better man that we the readers know off. The book also had acted as a medium to show how disturbance an abused child went through and to overcome it is not a day or two. It is relatively important to have the society to have their eyes open to their surrounding, and lent their helping hands when they senses domestic violent in present of their surroundings. [The case of Baby P should not happen if people were aware of it]

It was funny to see how Joe emphasizes on the word �abode� which now I learned a new vocab. Besides, while reading the book, the story flows in front of me as if it is happening now, which make my eyes grow wider with each sentence printed on the book. My heart pounded so fast when the story was at highest pitch and never seems to able to let it go. One thing about Joe writing style was, I never seem to let the book go away, I just wanted to know what happen next, and keep questioning while I reading it words by words, sentence by sentence. (This can explain why I finished the book in 2 days upon receiving it).

The story flow nicely stages by stages of what had been went through around the years of escaping from his past, it bring you from A to Z, stages by stages which each stages seen a new grown up man, although sometimes he did something silly to jeopardize what he had been planning to achieve.

This second book of his impact me a lot in the way I look at things, it make me wanted to help those abused children so they can have a better life. And again the book had make me realize that what paedophile is, how a domestic violence can took away a child�s innocent and how bad it affect their life in the future(commit suicide, drugs, future abuser, criminal and etc). Not everyone was fortunate enough as Joe; some abused child may become the abuser themselves in the later year which the cycle continues. Only if someone able to stop the cycle, which when the problems can be solve.

This book is worth reading, because it taught you something a text book or news won�t teach you. It is an eye opener to the real world where sometimes the media try to hide it. But again of course don�t start reading the second book before you have your hand on the first book in which it will help you to understand the situation better before judging him in the second book. And this book is suitable for everyone except those with weak stomach.

My house dog, Poppy the black with lots of nickname given to her over these years of her staying with us, was hilarious, but ill touch about the nickname next time.

She loves to "walk-walk" around our housing area, everytime i finished work at 5pm, she will waited outside the house for me to come home. And ill asked her "Poppy~~~ want walk walk?" she will be happily jumping around.. and dirty my clothes!...

Few months back, before Lucky passed away, i taught Poppy new trick, she have to take the chain for me in order to go for her evening walk, after many trial and errors, she managed to install the word "Tali" - "Chain" in her brain, surprising at the old age, she still can learn new trick :D.

Waiting for me to open the door, she only capable of opening the sliding door, while Lucky capable of opening the normal door... seems like my dogs r v good at door opening.. haha


this is after the "Walk-walk" session, where she will turned into a fighting bull and chase me while i'm holding the "Tali"

I was busy preparing dinner for my dog Poppy, and i decided to snap some pictures of her when i try to tempt her with some char siew ~~ she just love eating it and will do whatever trick i asked her to do.... but since one hand holding char siew while another hand holding camera.... the pictures were abit funny...

caught her tongue sticking out often lol :D

I think her fur r just too shiny to reflect all the flash LOL (although didnt shower for a week!)

Finally after a year of saving *smile* and price drop *laugh* and my compact camera's charge dead *ROFL* I managed to get myself a DSLR Nikon D5000 and I named it Eureka *laugh*

I'm still a noob in the area, so I kidnapped my dog as my model. But the camera told me that "Subject is too dark" *lol*

I'm still learning tho... sorry for ugly pics
