R:C - I agree, but in the case of people who fear or are unable to develop face to face relationships, the internet can act as a sort of halfway house between no social interactivity and an entire churchful: at least that is my theory. Also, the site would offer a search engine of face-to-face churches so that people could eventually connect with that sort of church.
