aww...you should go recipe hunting on the Internet. there's always lots of good recipes out there...I'm sure you might be able find one that's similar to your steamed chicken and then maybe it'll jog your memory.

1 whole chicken, about 2 1/2 lb. (1 kg)
1/4 tsp. (1 g) fennel seeds
4 tsp. salt, or to taste
1/4 tsp. (1g) Dahurian angelica root, chopped, if available
5 oz (150g) scallions, chopped
1/2 tsp. whole Sichuan peppercorn
5 tsp. (25g) fresh ginger, shredded
1/2 tsp. whole Sichuan peppercorn
1/4 tsp. (2 g) cloves
3 1/2 tbsp rice wine

If you ever cook something really good you have to remember how to make it... or write it down or something.... I think you can tell it sucks when you forget it. :/

wow thanx JMC, tho i suspect thats Sichuan Chix receipe, which is HOT and stir fried lol

the bad thing abt receipes is that half the time i don't know wat on earth the ingredients are referring to. eg: wats dahurian angelica root. mainly becoz i grew up with food names in mandarin. and of coz i'm much to lazy to check it our properly. lol
