Was in towm today with fad.. doing some shopping. noticed this amusing phenomenon.

In the maddening crowd, there seem to be brief laspes of forlorn sanity. These unmoved isles loaded with shopping bags and what nots, stand quietly in a least obstuctive corner, waiting. A careless observer can't help but notice the apparent expressions of helplessness sutured onto their faces.

In need of freshening up, i turned away from these amusing creatures and found my way to the washroom. But alas, every where i turn these creatures appear. Leaning against the walls, the glass shop fronts, tucked in the corner between racks or just idling sitting on short benches in a shoe shop. All bound by the same expression. Most carrying decidedly unnatural feminine bags.

Who else can these creatures be but the long suffering boyfriends? Boyfriends who accompany their girlfriends on her endless shopping escapades. Who patiently go through the stanadard procedure of "Do i look good in this?" (the advisable ans should always be yes), who stand around for so long waiting for her to get out of the washroom so much so that he's starting to develop rigor mortis. And of coz being the always convenient movable shopping rack. In addition to doubling as the money printer.

Boyfriends of the world, u have my sympathies. Ahem....really! erm.

stereotyping mentality? as far as I know, I don't take THAT LONG to go to the loo. laughs.
