Under the Rain
Monday, Morning
There are some moments in life when a normally irrelevent action can appear to be the only definitive answer. This morning contained one such moment. The echoes of raindrops and their dull pattering on my lawn, shrubbery, and patio, as well as the road further out, sent the chill of the cool air through me and made me a slave of the constant rustling.

And so it was evident. The only logical course of action became to wander out and become part of this orchestration. I liken to the lazy version of the rain as interpreted by the branches of the old maple that loomed over me. The light, random thuds fell upon my body from the leaves ever unstill in their battery from the clouds' creation.

It calms me to soak up the rain. I am grass, tree, flower. I am soil. I take, but I give. Like the wind that topples the veined, verdant saucers full of water, I shook me and so fell the drops from my clothes. I am river. Like the valley that carries and contorts the stream as nature drips and splashes on the surface, I took some rain with me, but will dry off.

I am a comment.
Aye the page of le battement! So glorious it once stood upon the carcasses of 57,000 comments An image so redoubtable it was on the verge of sublime... but nay. Now, just as Assyria, Egypt, Greece & Rome before it, it has fallen into commentless bane. Only panglossian pessimism can be of comfort now that the hope is unrevivifiable... Actaully a second season of summer survivor & folklore may bring more active members back to nutang and despite that i dont normally believe in the trickle down theory in economics it may fuction well in terms of comments also a conspiracy theory or 2 may bring back comments to the Land Untouched By Modern Dentistry

I really like the entry, it makes me miss my home of rainy weeks and months; Florida. I wanna go back now. The many reasons I wish I didn't live in this god forsaken desert. um... yea. I think the reason no one comments anymore is cause not that many of "the usual" people come on here much. I have to admit causes of my absence... everybody has me wrapped up in myspace now. But I come with a fair smile and a simple greeting as a comment. So...... hello

Yeah, I've been wanting to have some more events around here. Dave wanted a return of the Logic Fiend, and made me put that little rhyme into the main page graphic. But nothing yet.

Even I have a MySpace now. That site is way too popular for how shitty it is. None of the divs even line up, stuff is all out of order, margins are incorrect, people have to resort to stupid style scripts to change the colors of the page, and there are WAY too many bugs. I get an error message for abou 1/4 of the links I click at MySpace. It's total crap, but the idea seems to be enough for it to hold its popularity.

Ahh.
Yes I also find the rain quite refreshing. It was raining all day down here too..Which caused some dumbass to hit our car while on a journey to the commmons. No Damage though.

I agree...
though shitty very popular. It's actually a bit scary how nearly everybody has a myspace. And it doesn't matter what site I go on, I get these pop up things that are called "pop-unders." So stupid.
