This was Gregory's first 4th of July (and first bout with fireworks) and he just slept through the entire show. Huge booms, lots of flashing, lots of Gregory just snoring away. I was able to record some of the show on my phone, so here you can watch some.



Other than that, we thought we were going to get rained out. The dark clouds rolled in, we got some sprinkles...but it never happened. The shitty thing though...we were sitting there and the show should have started about 9:30 and nothing happened. We saw Thornton (over the trees) lighting off their fireworks. We saw Westminster lighting off their fireworks. We had fireworks to the east and west of us and Northglenn just sitting around. It was fun when it got started. There was some crazy guy with a video camera though singing and video taping random people asking what day it was and all that. He was drunk...

I'll have to go again next year with Gregory. He'll be a year and a half and will probably have a lot more fun and hopefully won't sleep through the whole thing.

i love fireworks! singapore's national day is coming up so we'll be having 2 saturdays of fireworks and 1 day on national day. i'm so excited!

Hopefully he can appreciate the fireworks next year. Might've scared him this year if he was awake. Scared the hell out of the poor kitty here. :P

Its funny to think that a baby could sleep through such a fiasco as fireworks. I could hardly sleep when we get home from the show we went to because our dog kept hearing ones people were doign around our neighborhood and she wouldnt quit barking lol

I tried recording some fireworks too...
But then I saw the ones Seattle was doing on TV and I decided it was a waste of time haha. It was the biggest fireworks show I think I've ever seen...they keep upping it every year.

Man I wish I could sleep like your kid o_0 The neighbors were fireworking until about 1 in the morning...and my dog being jumpy didn't really help.

I stood outside my front door watching the fireworks that the park up the street was doing. I guess living on the third floor has at least one perk :P
after that, I came inside a watched Boston Pops. I guess that's about the only tradition I have.
haha, that would have been me. I could sleep through the loudest noises when I was little. Depending on what it is, I can still sleep through loud noises {such as a severe thunderstorm}
