I was up with Gregory this morning and I was playing with him and I left him on the couch to go grab a garbage bag to put his dirty diapers in and he rolled off the couch and onto the floor! I hate myself for even letting it get to the point that he ever could have rolled off the couch.

He fell on the floor and there was a loud thud and he just started screaming those inconsolable cries and I was just so tore up inside...ugh

He seems to fine now, but seriously, it should never have happened!!

He could've fell by himself, you shouldn't blame yourself. Maybe next time, you could put him some where he can't fall down.

you can't keep tabs on him every second of the day. I know it sucks, but a few bumps and bruises just come with growing up. At least he wasn't injured at all. Soon enough he'll be back in the swing of things laughing and smiling like nothing happened. maybe he'll pose for a goofy picture again. =)

I know how you must feel. I am sure you were not aware that he could roll off the couch on his own. We all make mistakes and Gregory is just fine. Try to forgive yourself... You are NOT a bad mom!

Panic not hun... He'll fall down plenty more times in his life time and be just fine :) (That was supposed to be comfort.. I'm not sure I was successful but there we go!)
