and I essentially only have a week left before I have to go back to work. This really sucks :( I want more time to spend with my new baby, but money doesn't allow for time to spend with your kids. You can't have a good life with your kids if you don't have any money and I have to work to make money, so I'm not spending any time with my son...it's a horrible Catch 22. I HATE IT!

If only I was rich and could be at home all the time and do all that, but he'll be thrust into daycare or something at such a young age. Ugh...I hate myself.

Anyway, I don't want to go on my depression filled rant here about why I can't stay home with him all the time. It makes me depressed just thinking about it...

Other things depress me too, but I don't really want to go into those things either. If you really want to know about them, you can private message me...but I won't subject everyone to it.

You should just quit your job and be a good homemaker. Its very possible. :)

Another reason why I aspire to be a housewife. Marry rich! Woo hoo!

Well... you don't have to work every day right? So you can spend the weekends with your baby and just work weekdays...

my mom was able to be a stay-at-home mom, but that's only cuz my dad worked full time at a very nice high paying job. he made enough that even after he passed, mom didn't have to go back to work {we got social security for the three of us each month} but then in the last 3 or 4 years, mom has had to go back to work and she hates it. I know! get a work-at-home job :) this way you can get paid and spend time with your son!

We have something called maternity leave here which allows you up to 2 months leave because of some traditions.. Don't feel depressed, I'm sure you'll find a way to overcome your situation. *hugs* You still have the weekends with him right?

Nice to know that this is news to me. I'd listen to you if you would tell me about this stuff.

Hi
Sorry you have to go back to work so soon. I wish you could stay at home with your son. Not sure if I'm going to return to work or not. It's still up in the air. But it breaks my heart thinking about it. I hope everything works out for you guys. I'm always here to listen if you need me. Take Care
