Since about 50 years, people are not taking the issue seriously.
For lights, they switch them on when it is getting dark;
For aircorn, they turn them on although they don't feel hot;
For plastic bags, they use them as many as they could;
For vehicles, they drive them almost every day. etc.
It seems many things are a necessary, don't it?

Now, this is the time for us to protect our Mother Earth.

Malaysia's new in thing I see, try to pretend to be environmentally friendly.

To tell you the truth.. I will not turn off my lights on that day. Not until the government decides that improving the public transportation system will be the greener way.

Yea, It's a nice idea, but the whole "switch off your lights" thing really won't make a difference. It won't stop the power companies from producing energy. They'll just store it up for when we do turn our lights back on. And we will.

I wont because if we continue to not be able to live a greener lifestyle, for example: being able to rely on the public transportation, be able to recycle goods effectively and be able to buy green things without the sales taxes, there is no point to turning off the lights for an hour a year.
