Are two car crashes too much for one novel?
Friday. 9.5.08 10:02 pm
I have two car crashes in my book now... The second one is, admittedly, not fatal, but still, I feel like I have used the car crash too many times. The question is, what is a better way for people who are not going in the same direction one of which is preparing to leave your novel forever, to reunite? Car crashes are arresting: you must stop if you get into a car crash. *sigh*

Nah, two isn't a lot. But you could add more to make it seem like the characters are horribly prone to bad luck. :P

Two isn't so bad. Do they involve the same characters though? Same car?

I don't think two car crashes is too much.

You could always make an accidental fall from a tall building, a slip down the valley, a heart attack and fall down the cliff, erm.. it depends on your characters.

wow. what kind of story r u trying to write? u can write about car crashes unless the person puts a curse on the person that he/ she has to die from a car crash? oops.

if u ran out of ideas on accident... just open the newspapers for accident news.
