I have come across an incredibly baffling mystery. Or is this magic? I will let you, imaginary reader, be the judge of that.

It seems that when I cook, despite reproducing the exact steps my mom uses, my food comes out to look incredibly ugly. (Taste-wise, it also is quite lacking--typically quite bland.) I am quite confused, as I had followed the exact same steps. See example....

I must do some research to get to the bottom of this. I already have a hunch that it has to do with the molecular bipolepsic peptide RNA fragmentations indigenous to the Californian oxyglobinous air frametations, but we will see.

haha XD that's an amusing entry, although i doubt the food not turning out like it was intended has little to do with the molecular bipolepsic-blah which i cannot be stuffed to type-but something else altogether XD (like the top picture being a potatoe or something =P)

i dont think my food ever turns out as intended either x_X -sigh-

ah, a bento is like a japanese lunchbox... i think you've seen my first trial one ^^;; (and you might have seen the livejournal of where i got my "inspiration" from. she makes *amazing* bentos) you can see my other ones where i linked my bentos in one of my modules =3

so far i've been using a really rubbish plastic lunchbox and i'm so desperate to get a decent one to make it look prettier x_x;; and that really pretty lunchbox is what the pictures show ^_^

Thanks for your comment. :) And I would love to help you on the food thing but I'm horrible at cooking. My guess is to have someone teach it to you so that you two can do it side by side instead of just reading words on a piece of paper.

ah, the bento box sets, i found that one off jbox.com (searched bento) =] there are others, but that was the only black one, and i'm kinda obsessed with black ^^;; I expect anyone with a local japanese store can go in there and buy a really cute one at a low price -- i dont have a japanese store anywhere near me ;_;

Hmmm... how do I explain...

Okay, so you have 30 minutes to forget that I even mentioned "the game." BUT. If, after 30 minutes, you remember "the game" you lose. And you have to tell somebody else about "the game" and when you lose you have to call them or text them or leave them a blog comment that says, "I just lost the game."

Completely pointless but kind of fun.
