Morning bags
Tuesday. 9.5.06 4:37 pm
This morning... or afternoon rather, when i got up i decided to start another bag, similar to the one i have been working on... which i am rather annoyed with because i can't figure how the handles are to attach and it's just making me upset. so i got out this old bag i had been working on from forever ago, scrapped it and started this one. this yarn is about 3x's as thick as the other yarn so i had to edit the pattern further... i started using a pattern this girl designed but it was kinda weird so i edited it to look better (at least i think it does). then this bag i wanted it to be wide but it was waaay to wide without shortening the pattern.

This pic was taken at night so it has the horrid yellow lamp light cast to it, but this is the yarn i am using for the first bag. I found it at Joann's this past weekend when we went in atlanta... is a cotton, wool blend exclusive to joanns and super super soft. I fell in love. It's a gorgeous shade of pink. Once i get the bag finished i promise to take a pic in better light. (i added pics to the gallery btw)

Welcome!
Sorry this is so late but welcome to NuTang! I love the colors of your blog, they're so pretty. Is case you're wondering, I found your blog while surfing on Blogmad.

I can't wait to see the bag when its finished. I know how to knit but I started knitting a scarf almost maybe 2 years ago and its still not done. Lol.

Knitting?
Crocheting? Lol I don't know the difference. But all the same, I have no skill in either department...a bag, eh? Sounds tough, especially out of yarn. Show us how it turns out :)
