Chernobyl is an ongoing tragedy but there is a strange beauty in abandonned, decaying places being reconquered by nature. Incidentally, seeing these images reminded me of "the Zone" in Andrei Tarkovsky' s beautiful sci-fi film "Stalker" (1979).
