"If the day and the night are such that you greet them with joy, and life emits a fragrance like flowers and sweet-scented herbs, is more elastic, more starry, more immortal- that is your success. All nature is your congratulation, and you have cause momentarily to bless yourself. The greatest gains and values are farthest from being appreciated. We easily come to doubt if they exist. We soon forget them. They are the highest reality. Perhaps the facts most astounding and most real are never communicated by man to man. The true harvest of my daily life is somewhat as intangible and indescribable as the tints of morning or evening. It is a little star-dust caught, a segment of the rainbow which I have clutched." - Henry David Thoreau

I signed up for Poupée Girl
for some reason. (I've the widget on the sidebar.) Woot?
I'm not a really big fashion hound, though, I mean, I like looking at fashion and stuff like that, but not wearing it. I don't think I've the body for it, plus it takes time to plan what to wear, precious time I could be using for stuffing my bra! J/K, I don't stuff anything, except turkeys. For casual wear, I mostly just wear sneakers, jeans, and a shirt -- sometimes with an another, longer-sleeved shirt! And a jacket
! Oh boy, things are getting exciting up in here.
Oh, BTW, I don't think I explicitly mentioned that Poupée Girl is a fashion social networking sort of site.
Did anybody catch the Lost
season finale? My mind was so violently violated I was struck dumb for days. And now that we have like 8 or 9 months till the final season (I could make a baby in that time!), I've been going fishing for theories like mad
. Usually I just click a few, but I clicked more this past week than I've ever had this year. And the Lost
ARG seems to be gearing up (on Twitter
), so I'm following that, too. I have been in and out following the fandom since the beginning, but I think since it's the end now, I'm just going all out. BLARHG IDKUF&^ *P CNASD( * DSAJ KSLH!!!11111111one

I never understand dreams. I dreamt that I was lost with all my old classmates, and I don't mean lost-in-a-mall lost, but lost like that ABC show Lost
. I think we were on an island and we were waiting for someone to pick us up. Anyway, a mystery ensues because for some reason my Manhattan Portage messenger bag was stolen. I go around asking people and finally it turns out Eddie took it and put it somewhere. So I confront Eddie and I say, "if you don't give that bag back to me you'll have to pay me $30 or $40 for it." He says he'll get it and it turns out all my stuff inside had been passed amongst the girls. Okay notice I said "girls" and not "guys" or "everyone else" because strangely enough I had feminine products in my bag (and this bag is not that big)... such as two boxes of tampons and a box of Venus Gillette razors. I confront the girls too and get my stuff back. And then something happened. Like a polar bear came out of nowhere in the hot jungle or puffs of smoke appeared or something.
(All actual people from my past and my real bag featured in my dream!)
It was weird since it was like a combination of two of my favorite new TV drama series to come out last year, Lost
and Veronica Mars
. Watch it on Wednesdays at 9 pm in the new fall season!!
Which reminds me, there's too much stuff coming out in the last two quarters of this year
This is all the stuff I want... that's available for pre-order

So I bought it, peeled off the plastic wrap, slid it out of its plastic slipcover, unfolded each cardboard section one by one, and took the seven discs out and stuck them in my slim jewel cases. First, it's fucking long. It must be like two feet in length unfurled. Second, well, there isn't a second, I guess I can say again: IT'S FUCKING LONG. It's just I've never bought any DVD set with more than four discs.
I saw the first two seconds of the pilot on DVD today (the screen just saying LOST), at this rate I'll be done when I'm about 105.79-years-old, excluding the bonus materials. My antennae suck so I almost danced the samba when I saw the clarity in that four-letter word, "LOST".
Who will win the war for the new format, BD or HD-DVD, where it's feasible an entire TV season can be stored on one disc? Imagine owning the entire X-Files series on 9 discs! Talk about storage! At least, conveniently, it will still be a disc and not some kind of tiny chip or a brain implant. Okay, bye.
