Apple drops iPhone prices by $200, early adopters complain en masse
Wednesday. 9.5.07 6:11 pm
Look, let's put a little perspective on this. It's one thing to lower the price of a product six months after its release. But two months? I just bought my iPhone less than a month ago. It's the 4Gb version, and I paid $499 for it. Damn right I'm just a wee bit peeved. Will I get over it? Sure. Will I still buy Apple products? Sure. But let me add this: if Apple did take care of us early adopters with some kind of credit or gift certificate, my loyalty quotient would go up exponentially. Apple should do something to make amends. It's the right thing to do. Prove that they do indeed Think Different.

Haha
You hear about that kid who broke the system and make the iPhone servicable by all networks, not just AT&T?

Eh. Anything super expensive I usually wait to buy anyways (if I ever do), since there's always SOME dilemma that pops up within the first month or so. I'd probably be peeved too, but there isn't really anything Apple can do about it in terms of refunding. It's not like the corporate big wigs got together and said "hey, let's screw over early-buyers."

Is there any way you can return it?

I hope this isn't in anticipation to enter the gaming market with the iphone. There's been alot of talk that apple wants to take on the DS

I feel compelled to laugh at the people who simply must have the newest thing, but yeah, you got ripped off. Too bad. :(

I read in Popular Science that Japan 'cloned' the Iphone and it turns out they made a much better version of it. But yeah!.. I heard about the 17 year old boy who got his iPhone to work for T-Mobile. Supposedly it took him 2 months?? Ha, I forgot.

And no, I didn't get to ride the Journey of Atlantis cause my little bro wouldn't get on it. That ride looked a lot like another ride I got to ride on at Busch Gardens though.. so yeah. I did get extremely dark, considering that I'm really light-skinned. Haha. I'm so glad it doesn't get to that scorching heat level where I live. [:
