What Happens When A Producer Loses His Muse
Wednesday. 2.21.07 12:04 pm
Rich Harrison. You know the name. And if you don't know the name then you know the hits. He and Amerie developed a sound with her first album, All I Have. It's been recreated in Beyonce's "Crazy In Love", Jennifer Lopez's "Get Right" and of course A's "1 Thing".
For Amerie's forthcoming cd. Because I Love It, there is no sign of Rich Harrison. Read about why here.

Like when all producers blow up, they work with all the big names. But when the dust settles and they become a staple, sometimes new ventures are required to take it up a notch or two.
ENTER RICHCRAFT RECORDS!
Rich is fuckin with Atlantic in a major way. He's got some male R&B acts coming on his new label. Keep in mind Rich typically works with women and has only really grinded for two dudes-- Diddy (Making It Hard" featuring Mary J. Blige from Press Play) and Usher ("Take Your Hand" from Confessions). There may be one two other songs for Usher and I think something with Mos Def, but overall Rich has been a ladies man.
Enter Young Steff and Jaiden.
Young Steff is the first male up to bat on RichcrafT.
His new song is "Put That On Everything."

Aiight so what y'all think of a male putting his stank on Rich's signature sound. What say you?
RUSH IT OR FLUSH IT?
