So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

I LOVE SUMMER
Tuesday. 6.1.10 12:27 am
I love summer. I love the heat, I love the long days, I love the tall, uncut grass, (I also love the freshly mown grass), I love the flowers, I love the thunderstorms, I love the flip-flops, I love the lazy afternoons, I love the not-having-a-jacket...

It's summertime, and the livin's easy.

It's always been "cool" to say that summer is not your favorite season. Usually you'd pick fall for the leaves or spring for the flowers, and if you're especially "hip" and "alternative" you'd say your favorite season is winter. Yep, it depends on where you live. Fall in Colorado was always my favorite because the weather is perfect and the rays of the sun slant down through the trees onto the soccer field in the late afternoon. In SoCal there weren't really any seasons except that the summer was a bit too hot to live without air conditioning. But summer in Rhode Island is full of green leaves, beaches, blue skies, the smell of barbeque. The humidity wraps you up in its arms and bids you take a swim in the sea.

If if there was no winter in Rhode Island, I could live here forever.

SUMMER SUMMER SUMMER SUMMER SUMMER SUMMER! I wish it would never end! I'm already dreading winter! SUMMER! Stay here forever!!!! I love you!!

I just like whatever season comes with the most fog.

So.. since there IS a winter in Rhode Island, does this mean I can convince you to come live in Texas if I bribe you with (crack)rocks?

There you go again -- reminding me why I looooooove you.
Please come to Denver where the snow falls.

And yes, I untagged myself in that photo because it brought back such sad memories.. thanks for reminding me btw. I hate you. Go away.

i'm almost over that loss..

mmm summer is fantastic.

high grass is kinda iffy to me. that's where mice hide.
» thaitanic on 2010-06-01 10:26:25

I would love to experience 4 seasons for a change cause all I get is scorching hot or wet..
Lately, it's the mixture of both.. scorching hot in the morning, stupidly wet starting from about 3pm.

Re: I'm mastering my courage to talk to the person. It's harder because I anticipate the water works (tears) coming into play.
