So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Maybe I was picked up by some sort of web crawler. I must have mentioned some key word, like "terrorist". It's a minute to midnight and I'm at work as usual. We were just watching Anne of Avonlea on the big screen in the lab and eating ice cream. Just me, Zebo, and the Welshman's girlfriend (I have to come up with a better nickname for her... how about 'Vermont'). She just such a singular personality it's hard to contain her in a word besides her name, but Vermont will do. Apparently the Welshman's flight out of Antarctica Tuesday got cancelled, and he probably won't make it back into town until the 23rd. We've been working on the same problem set (#9) now for more than 24 solid hours. It's getting a bit ridiculous. Not as ridiculous as Crater Boy, of course, who is probably near 30 hours working on problem set 8, which everyone else in the class has given up as impossible. Thalweg is in the recording lab at the college radio recording her radio show that will air tomorrow on how the geology students are teaching science at the local elementary school. Her work was so good! She had such an awesome radio voice, I loved it! She even got the cadence of talk radio down right. I've no words for how I feel tonight. It has nothing to do with school. I had a terrible dream that I was running and running but my quads were so weak that they could barely hold me up, and I couldn't bring my knees up to get a good turnover going. I was running about this evening and I had the same feeling, only it wasn't a dream. 7 Comments. Aren't you like, always popular? It seems like you usually have a place somewhere in the Top 10. » randomjunk on 2008-12-15 09:31:39 im 23! sounds like u need a break from running, i tried to do too much last month and think i pulled something » Koban on 2008-12-15 10:30:54 I hate dreams like that! Especially when you're running from something or to something and it's very important that you get away or there. That's no good in real life, either. re: Ha, I have no idea. I guess because there is so little to do in Lubbock that's entertaining, we have to spice things up. (Kidding of course. It was a lame joke) » bananaface on 2008-12-15 11:30:16 Do you want to hit the walking paths when you get back or is it more of a "legs need to rest" kind of thing.
