1. Neil Gaiman's dog died while he was away, under painful but quick circumstances...exactly like mine did. Same age and everything. When he writes, "And I wasn't there," I just...NOPE.

2. Rita Levi-Montalcini died, too. ONE OF MY GREATEST IDOLS. She was limitless. If you ever want to be painfully aware of how much more you can do with your current circumstances, take ten minutes to read her Nobel Laureate bio, or even the one on this news article.
