Less backstabbing, more love

Do girls have any real friends? It seems like nearly all females are fake to each others' faces in at least some way (and sometimes worse to the opposite sex, but I won't go into that). They can go from "yay best friends for life" to "omg what a bitch" almost instantly. No comprendo.
The catalyst in my pondering has been primarly my girlfriend, who has been on the recieving end of these wildly swinging relationships lately, but some members of my team are also involved in their own struggles...though with a little less innocence. Both cases involve estranged "best friends," a good deal of animosity, and some easily resolved bull shit. Girls complain and complain about drama but ooooh boy can they stir it up. No comprendo! There is a simple solution to all of this: don't hate people. Ta-da, the problems of the world are solved! You're allowed to be pissed off, but don't make it someone else's issue.
So I will be frolicking up in Bellingham this weekend. I'm driving up to do a halftime performance at a basketball game, and then staying with Jake and his dad at some relative's house. Jake is an 8th grader. His dad, if he weren't 6' 0", could be easily mistaken for an eight grader as well. Under normal circumstances I would dread having to babysit the two of them, but I think this will be a good opportunity to just relax. I've also been going through jump rope-trip withdrawls so hopefully this will remedy that. And I'm bringing my laptop so hopefuly some hapless noob with have an unsecured wireless network ripe for Internet stealing.
BOOM, posted at midnight.
Muffy over and out!
P.S. Oh yes, and I also conquered both the Dark Side and the Sunny Day. Sweet victory.
Do not try to bend the spoon. That's impossible. Instead, try to realize the truth. There is no spoon. Then you will see that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself.
I so hate females for that. I mean, I don't see the reason why they have to be such hypocrites and especially to those they always take for granted of and those who are different than them. Tell your girl to not let all these backstabbing gossiping get to her because they are insecure.
I promise to try not be like that because I hate being like that too. I don't like myself being so - being upset with people without thinking, that is - and I'm trying to change that.

i hate how you can just say
"I'm driving up" to where-ever whenever. I want to be able to do that!
Eh, that's girls for you. Finding a best friend is rare and all that much more precious. That's why I can honestly say I have no best friend. A few, maybe two, that are almost there--one boy and one girl. And of course, the 'tangers! You. *wink* But back to the cats, you never know when they'll turn on you. *shrug* So I don't let myself get toooooo close. XD The claws and hisses! Pointless really. ;P

Just come and see me! I can show you the park and the ridiculous signs around the city. =D

I never want to have female spawn for the exact reason you have mentioned. That and other girls weird me out. Personally, I was never like that. I admit to being a huge gossip, but not hurtful things, and never about my friends. I'm sorry that your lady friend is having to go through that, though. If you want, I can drag my alumna ass down there and do a little head bashing.

I might've been. Hell if I know. I don't think so, but I can't say for sure...

I met this girl
who goes to a different school in the area, and we talked on myspace and stuff, and she told me some really random personal stuff, and I thought we could be great friends. But now she's back at the "hey nice to meet you" stage and I'm still going along with "Hey we need to hang out sometime." And it's just really awkward for me. Heh.
In other words, girls are hella weird.

Personally I've never been into the whole gossiping-behind-the-back thing, but I do drop my friends if we grow far apart. Experience has told me that it's just not worth it to salvage something like that...

ha, thanks B. I guess I hadn't heard it enough. lol
I went through that with my best friend from middle school. we lost touch for a while, but thanks to myspace, we've been talking again. I don't have a 'best friend' anymore; a couple close friends, but not a best friend. and I had a friend in middle school who was 6'3" by the 8th grade. for a while he was dating a sophomore in college because of how much older he looked. it was crazy

Nyahaha~ My advice: Stop wondering about girls' weird side (something about their monthly cycles and all...) and just go on with your happy normal life. Trust me, sometimes I swear I wish I was a boy. =D
And Muffy! You shock me! You know that Kevs picture you were talking about in reply to my entry? That girl in the background who covered her mouth was me hahaha XD

You baby sit 8th graders and their fathers to get relaxation? Good times.
I believe all girls secretly hate one another.
