Happy 4th, plus other stuff.
Thursday. 7.5.07 10:01 am
It feels like I never left the house, and yet I've been gone for a full two weeks. It's a feeling I get everytime with every vacation...while I'm gone it seems as though I've been away forever, and when I get back it feels like nothing's changed. Bleh, I can't stand it. Anyway, Florida + the competition was amazing, and DC had its perks too, though not really in the way I expected.

Plane rides are boring. Hence, I picked up some pencils and marked up some paper.

I copied it freehand from an old Warcraft III manual, so credit to whoever did the original :)

If I see another museum or hear the word "tour" I might pass out, because those were all we did in Washington DC. Sure, some of them were interesting. For the first 20 minutes. My sister and I would've been fine if we could've breezed through at our own pace...I mean come on, we're teenagers, we don't care about what happened in 1416 to some Duke of This and That. But for all my complaining I do get some bragging rights. I've been inside the White House. I've seen the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence. In the end I guess it was all worth it. My parents deserved it anyways, after we dragged them through 4 days of competition :)

I hear the popping of fireworks and the voice of my dad asking me to come outside and watch them from our deck. I'm obligated since he just cooked us a real nice dinner. Until next time...

P.S. I was planning on seeing Transformers today but my friends bailed. Apparently people do things on the 4th of July haha. I'm dying to see it...if anybody else already has then tell me what you thought of it.

P.S.S. Thanks for all the comments on my previous entry :) It means alot...I still don't think I've gotten all the excitement out of my system.

Do not try to bend the spoon. That's impossible. Instead, try to realize the truth. There is no spoon. Then you will see that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself.

In reply... Gasp, you're right. :0 How unlike me. :P

That's a pretty good copy. (No more Poptart induced compliments for you)

Fireworks = Fun

Oh yeah, and Melon Icee was the title of the lengthy post without pictures that I deleted. Nobody should have to suffer through that. :P
» randomjunk on 2007-07-05 03:42:37

That drawing is good. I could never do something like that.
I'm glad you had fun {for the most part} on your vacation
» LostSoul13 on 2007-07-05 01:54:56

you must see transformers.

=]

Haha, RCB stands for Really Cute Boy. I'm pretty sure I've used it on Nutang before. :P

ha, working really isn't that bad as long as you're doing something you like. I didn't want to work in a restaurant in the first place, but when I got the job, I was desperate. I stayed as long as I did cuz I liked the people I was working with {most of them anyway} and what I did for 'previous work history' was put "not prior work history" it seemed to work out well. and this way too, you're not just leaving it blank. Or you can just put N/A for 'not applicable'
» LostSoul13 on 2007-07-06 03:10:59

oops, its supposed to say "no* prior work history" instead of 'not'
» LostSoul13 on 2007-07-06 03:11:57

it depends; I know people who had no actual job history, but they babysat and that counts as job history since they were paid. I guess your workshops would be considered under what kind of skills you have; jumprope too. that is considered teamwork and certain communication skills that can be good to have in a work environment
» LostSoul13 on 2007-07-06 03:22:41

haha very interesting. I don't even know how i understood everything you said.

The trains are yet to get here.. for now, the only public transport available are cabs and busses.. I don't like taking the bus too but with the allowance I'm getting, I won't be able to go out much either unless if I get a part time job.

awesome drawing!!
I'm not especially good at drawing, unless I'm copying something. Then I'm okay.. I guess. But you did a fantastic job!

My 4th was spent on a plane. Twice. I say twice, because I was flying back from the Philippines with a group from church, who are thirteen hours ahead of the central time zone in the US. So when I was flying back, by the time I got home I'd lived two July 4s. Craziness.

But I did get to see some fireworks, though. While we were waiting for our plane from San Francisco to Dallas, we got to see a few fireworks out the window at the airport. But it didn't last for very long, and we weren't really paying attention anyway. Oh well.
I wore red and blue on the way back, though, to celebrate. =)

Have a good weekend! And hope you get to see Transformers. I have yet to see it, too, and hear it's really good. Yeah!

My July 4th sucked. All I did was study caselaw and watch Oz/ Law and order.. Actually, now that I think about it, it didn't suck. I watched law and order :)

And DC.. How was the town like? I may be going there next year as an intern to the supreme court, if I can keep my GPA above 3.7. What was the town like?

Yeah, I know you're totally right.

But I mean, it isn't the people that I don't really KNOW in real life, just those who I've ACTUALLY SEEN. & .. those were people who were mean to me way back & they're like suuper pretty & that just makes me even more depressed sometimes, yanno? But I understand that I shouldn't even be worrying about it cuz myspace is just some stupid site with comment crap & stuff.

So yeah, it isn't because of that.. its basically because of what they look like in real life.

Thanks :]

I've never been to Seattle, but I plan to go when I visit UW's law school in the not too distant future. I've never really been out of the South, so I can't wait to travel.

And I don't think the lobbyists will be half as bad as the Naruto fans who debated the Pokemon fans every morning outside of my classes.
