Spoilers ahead, el capitan. How many? 300. Wednesday. 3.14.07 3:14 pm For the next few weeks the Federal Way School District is doing WASL testing in all its schools. To sum up the WASL: an incredibly simple, standardized test required to graduate from high school. Anyhow, since I passed it last year, I get to be exempt from the morning testing sessions meaning...waking up late! Or not   , since all this week there's AP study sessions and a doctor's appointment. Curses.Anyhow, turns out that tinnitis junk was just caused by a buildup of wax in my innear ear something or other. So now all is better. I scoff at my mother, however, for asking the doctor about ways to get me to fall asleep. I refuse to sleep, I don't care how much melatonin they give me. [WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD]  I saw 300 yesterday with some friends. The movie is outrageous in terms of spectacle and how epic everything has to be. There is not one detail that was not exaggerated. How epic would it be if there was only a pile of the townsfolks' bodies? Not very, which is why there had to be a tree full of them. And a storm destroying a fleet of ships? Nope, it had to be a frickin tempest complete with hard metal music roaring amongst the thunder. Blo0d didn't spill, it sprayed, and the movie had so much slo-mo action it gave The Matrix a run for its money, and that's saying a lot. Considering how much I love The Matrix. I don't think I've seen another film that has such a small amount of clothing either. Speedos and red capes for the guys, revealing dresses or no clothes at all for the women. All in all, I don't think it'd be very easy finding a movie that even comes close to the degree of epic-ness in 300. Even the secks was epic. Beat that. [SPOILERS END HERE] On Monday we did speed drills @ jump rope practice. I was pretty excited about my score...172 jumps in 30 seconds chyeah   . After several complex mathematical calculations I've determined that to be 5.7 jumps per second, and I don't even know how that is possible...but it is trust me. ---Edit--- Oh, and just to clarify...I DID like the 300 movie. My assessment of it may have come across as a really corny, cheesy, overdone movie, but it's not. It was pretty awesome.
