It's a free way to make calls over the internet, granted the person you want to call has an account too. The leader of my France trip mentined it in passing, and then I saw two of my floormates using it to talk to their boyfriends back home. If you set it up with your webcam on, you can have quite the chat, I gather. Anyway, I have it now, and I'm pretty excited that I'll be able to talk to my family while I'm gone this summer. I don't know why, but phone cards confuse the heck out of me, so the last time I went out of the country without my parents I didn't call them at all and they got pretty pissed at me. This time I'll hopefully do a little better. 4 Comments. I've never uh... used it, exactly, but I've seen it. My uncle lets people stay in his house in Hawaii, and someone left their Skype account logged in, and I could see what it was...
