I am loving my Race & Ethnicity class. I regret not paying more attention earlier in the semester. It's my favorite class and its icing on the cake to have a professor with a law degree.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to continue to law school anymore what with the new possibility of FBI. But with this class, I think I've re-discovered my ability to...argue. Logically and cut-to-the-bone. I had lost my confidence for a long period of time and I didn't even know who I was anymore. But I'm back and better everyday. Like wine. =P Or maybe I'm just so good at arguing because everyone else in the class isn't. Haha, that's definitely a possibility.

Anyway, the point of this entry was...sorry, I got sidetracked...PEGGY MCINTOSH! Read her article, it's awesome. White Privilege: Unpacking the Invisible Knapsack

She begins by compares the invisible white privilege to the male privilege males refuse to admit exists. There is very nice list of the so-called white privileges, even those I haven't thought of but so completely agree with. Apparently, there are more in the complete version, but that you have to pay $6 for so...just read what I got you up there.
