I wrote an entry. It didn't get published. Crackers.

Cliff Notes: Incident. School. Exam. Inky Pen. Unreasonable prof. Refused to read my completed test paper because he believed it was 'sloppy'. Should have known it was 'unacceptable'. Pen 'bled'. Shouldn't have known better than to write front & back. BTW: I checked before doing front & back. In total, three pages. Refused to read. Said it was impossible. Said he was going to give me a 65. I walked out and went to director's office. I had a problem and was going to do something about it. Director gave me the crazy privledge of sitting in his chair in his office and typing it up. Said prof couldn't object to typd paper--so NOT unreadable. Asshole acted like I made it up to him. Kept my mouth shut.

He is such an ass. I have never had anyone tell me my work was 'sloppy' and refuse to read it because my pen was inky. Never had someone say my work was unacceptable. Never had someone hold my completed test and tell me I was getting a 65 after refusing to read it.

The whole thing was ridiculous.

And the worst part was, I had tears down my face the whole time. Well, AFTER I walked out. I was that mad and upset.

I don't think I can let it go just yet. And don't know if I should.

damn, I'd have been pissed too. that right there is not a good teacher. I'm almost positive there are people with worse, normal handwriting than your 'inky' pen. I can understand him saying that it's not your usual, neat handwriting, but to completely refuse to read it and fail you because of that? no, not acceptable.

teachers tend to have those nasty days when they just act like complete jerks. i'd love to see his face when he reads your paper and it turns out to be one of the greatest papers! :) that'll show him. heheh.

That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard! If I ever got that kind of lecturer, I won't only be going to the director to make sure that he gets his ass kicked, I'd change out of the class too! He should meet my World Issues lecturer and he'll show your lecturer what "sloppy and unreadable" writing is.

well, what can a student do when the teacher is in charge. ultimately, it's a matter of kissing butts right from day one when you started school. I don't do butt-kissing in school and yet i have my teachers' respect (phew!). maybe you have to think of this incident as a lesson and not to make the same "inky" mistake again. but still, i'm pretty sure that paper must be worth more than 65 points.

profs are totally ugh sometimes. my university has been the talk of the news for awhile because of the whole facebook cheating expelling the student crap. that prof doesn't get it and causes a whole crap load of issues but gawd it's just a online study group.

anyways back to the issue~~ how can a prof grad you without even reading your work. it makes no sense. he's just pulling a mark out of thin air. it's not like elementary school or highschool where the marks comes from who knows where. =X

re your last entry-- I think the nutangers need a pps tax refund or maybe economic stimulus package. Not that we pay taxes or anything. But hey, you know Dave does take a percentage of the revenue and we take the other part, that's kind of like taxes!
