I just saw a little clip of "Stargate: Atlantis" before I turned off the T.V.

Doesn't literally have the definition of in the literal or strict sense/actually; without exaggeration or inaccuracy? What happened to using words the way they were meant to be? When did we start throwing words around without any respect to the people who made them up and stuck them in early dictionaries? And you know "literally" isn't the only word being misused nowadays. I can't think of any other ones at the moment, but I know there are trunkloads of 'em.

Just a thought.

I don't like when people use the word 'irregardless' considering its not an actual word. its just something that annoys me. I agree with you tho, on people abusing the misuse of certain words.
