I think I finally figured out why Michael Bay's movies (transformers, The Island) are so terrible. The man still thinks he's making movies in the 90's. I watched Bad Boys the other day, and his style hasn't changed since then. It's all explosions, shooting, chases, but very little plot or research goes into his movies. And his style hasn't evolved.

I know some people liked Transformers, but I defy anyone to say that that was anything but a summer flick with no intelligent core. It was all special effects. The script was just awful, and the dialogue was painful.

In other news, I get to be an admin! Woo hoo!

I think 'liked' is an understatement. Muffy still calls me a Decepticon. X|

Seriously, Transformers is a terrible terrible movie and you are spot on about Michael Bay not changing his style. I can't figure out why everyone loved it so much. *rant rant rant*

I think it's pretty much agreed upon by haters that he's a douche. I remember attempting to read an article about The Island in EW, but after a few of his nonsensical yet douchey comments I just couldn't go on.
