Missed a day for a trip to LA.
Wednesday. 12.11.13 12:42 pm
I drove out to LA yesterday to visit my friend who had moved there from Seattle in May. He lives right behind the Chinese Theatre. Like, not even kidding, he's less than a 5 minute walk. The Theatre is closer than the corner gas station ... It's ridiculous how close he is to the place. He's ran in to movie stars multiple times {ie: Orlando Bloom} just because of how close he is. Every time there's a red carpet premiere, he has to show security his license to prove that he lives there because they close off the street.

I wasn't there for very long, but I did get to do a lot of sight seeing. He took me around on an impromptu tour of movie star homes. I can't even begin to list the number of celebrity homes I drove past, but I did get stuck behind a tow truck blocking the driveway to the Playboy Mansion. Tori Spelling's house is massive. It's apparently over 60,000 square feet. Next time I go out there it'll be for more than half a day.

No plans for today or tomorrow, but then I'm busy for the remainder of my stay here. I have plans Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Then Monday will pretty much be my goodbyes because I leave in the middle of the day Tuesday. The first week of the trip actually felt like it took its time, but this second part of my stay here seems to be going by way too fast. A small part of me is looking forward to being back home, though.

Until tomorrow. . .

It sounds like it would be horribly inconvenient to live that close to somewhere famous, haha.
