It is currently 58 degrees inside my apartment. It is 40 outside. I am currently wearing sweatpants, fuzzy socks, a long-sleeve shirt, a jacket and 4 blankets covering me. Most of me is fairly warm, but my hand are frozen.

I've lost my voice thanks to this sore throat and I slept horribly last night because one, I was suffering a sore throat that made me feel like I was choking and two, because it was freezing in here. They said the earliest someone will be out to fix the heater is today between 1 and 3, but I have a feeling that won't happen.

Since most of my Sam's job entails speaking to people, I will most likely be calling off work tomorrow since I don't have a voice. I can't sell stuff if I can't talk. I really hate calling off, but that's one of those jobs that would most definitely make me worse because I can't exactly take it easy when it's super busy and there's a lot of heavy lifting/moving around. It'll be a hit on the paycheck, but that's a hit I'm willing to take for my well being.

I want to take a nap, but my throat won't let me get comfortable long enough to fall asleep. Perhaps later I'll be so tired that it won't matter much.

Yeah, it sounds like you're making the right decision by not going to work. I hope you get better quickly. :(
