Fall wasted no time moving in and making itself comfortable, and I'm okay with that. It barely got above 60 today, despite the fact that the sun managed to break through the clouds. I don't mind the sun so much when it's not hot. Sunny with puffy white clouds and temps in the mid 60s is ideal. I like the rain and the dreary, wet weather, but I've lived here long enough that I don't want that every day anymore. We'll see what Mother Nature has in store for us this coming winter.

Regular work was a bitch today. I wanted to shove my radio through my boss's face. He was just pissing me off left and right, straight from the start of the shift. I hate, hate, hate when people lecture about doing something wrong, then tell me 5 minutes later to do that exact thing. Ugh! It was just one thing after another and I was so ready to get out of there. I needed to get in a nap before going in to the part time job so that I could lower by blood pressure before I ended up killing someone.

Luckily, the second job wasn't too bad and we were all out of there on time. There's a scheduling issue and the manager needs to hurry his butt back from Vegas so that he can fix it. In reality, all I really care about is having my birthday off, which had already been approved pretty much upon my hire, and this new system put me on the schedule anyway. I have plans already. I've had plans since before I got the job. There's no way I'm working that day. Sorry. Hopefully I can talk to a supervisor and since the day was already approved, it shouldn't be hard to get it fixed, but still. I shouldn't even have to worry about it being there in the first place.

This coming week leading up to my birthday is going to be a rather long week. At my part time job I work 4 hours tomorrow, 4 1/2 on Friday morning {an exception due to having this past Monday off} 8 on Saturday, off Sunday, 4 hours 15 min Monday and Tuesday, 4 hours 45 minutes Wednesday and 5 1/2 hours Thursday. It's so messed up! This is all on top of working my regular 40 hour per week job. Ugh. Once my birthday passes, then it's kind of fine. I'll need the 19th off for the party and then I can just work my silly butt off until my trip. I just have to get through the next few weeks first.

Alright, time to watch some videos and perhaps get to bed before 11. We'll see how well that goes.

Hmm, well hopefully there are no hitches and they'll make it easy for you to take your birthday off. That's definitely a day you want to have time to yourself on!
