I was in bed before 10 and was rudely awakened at 5 this morning by none other than Mother Nature. Once a month, I really don't like being a female. At least the benefits of starting super early is that I'll probably end early. Probably. Lately, with as much stress as I've been allowing on myself, there's a possibility that I won't. I guess I'll find out.

This morning was fairly productive. I got some grocery shopping done. Hopefully the food that I have will last me two weeks. Portion control is what I have to work on. The fact that some of it I actually have to cook will also allow the food to last longer simply because I don't like cooking in the communal kitchen. At least not until my neighbor leaves. I seriously have to put forth effort to avoid telling him to fuck off. Ignoring him is usually what I do. No eye contact normally works.

Sorry, I got off track there.

While I was at the store, I was able to get my prescription transferred over to the new pharmacy. Having new medical insurance meant that I could no longer use the Cooperative pharmacy that I had been using. As great as Group Health is, their choices are a tad limited. Once I was done shopping, I picked up my script, paid for my stuff and brought it out to the car. One advantage that came from transferring the script was that I got a $25 coupon to use on groceries as long as I spent $50 or more. So, I bought $51 worth and got $25 off. Not a bad deal at all.

After bringing my crap out to the car, I went back in to the store, went to the bank to get quarters for laundry and stopped at Starbucks to finally get the hot chocolate that I've been craving. Shortly after I came home, Jacob asked if I wanted to get some food so we went out for a bite to eat. After that, I drove up north to get some gas. Safeway offers reward points for gas and the station I went to was cheaper than the one nearby. Luckily I had some reward points and I got $.30 off ... meaning I paid $2.99 per gallon of gas. Oh yeah, totally worth driving a little extra distance.

And so here I am, trying to relax enough to not let the cramps bother me too much. I'm only slightly succeeding in this attempt. I may end up going to bed early again tonight; not because I'm tired, but because laying down actually helps.

Tomorrow will consist only of getting my laundry done and that'll happen whenever I wake up for the day. So for now, I have a few more episodes to watch on Hulu and I will probably play a few rounds of FTL until I feel like going to bed.

Until tomorrow NuTang. . .

Mm, hot chocolate. The cafe near my school had cayenne hot chocolate as a holiday special, and it was very yummy.

Sounds like you got some good deals!
