So I left my house last night at around 10:30pm and arrived at the hotel right around 7am this morning. It was a long drive and I have a feeling it'll be even longer going home. Simply because I'll have traffic to deal with this time.

After we all hung out, around 9pm, we decided to go our seperate ways because in this town, things close. Unlike in Vegas where there are some things that happen to be open 24 hours {other than casinos and bars.}

I get back to the hotel, lay down around 10ish-pm and wake up at 11:30.

Well, I don't actually look at the clock so I think it's 11:30am. Check out time is at noon. So I get up, get dressed, text my friend to see if she still wants to go out for breakfast before I leave since I still have a little bit of time. And she gets really confused. Especially when I told her I had slept for 12 hours.

After a few more exchanges, she tells me that it's quarter till midnight. Not quarter till noon, as I had thought.

So now here I sit, trying to calm myself down enough to go back to sleep. At least the disorientation is starting to wear off.

I honestly thought the clock said 11:30am not pm. The only thing that would have made this worse is if I had actually started to go outside. Maybe I should have done that though. Then I would have immediately realized it was still night time.

...Or maybe you'd just be like "WHERE IS THE SUN!?!? D:"

I took a nap once and woke up at like, 4 PM and thought it was breakfast time so I made hashbrowns. X|

Then my parents came out and were like "what are you doing?"

Hahaha! I know how you feel. Usually when I'm back home, the thick curtains makes it look like the dawn, even if its noon, and thought maybe I'd go have breakfast with the mothers. Usually I'd just look at the clock and be surprised that it is noon.
