I really have no specifics to go along with the title. It's just stating a fact. With the way the economy is, times are just tough. And here's a fact that the older people will understand and a warning to the younger ones as of yet unexperienced:

The more money you make, the less you have to spend freely. As you get older, you accumulate more money. But with that money comes more bills and more responsibility to handle that money properly. It's not fun being broke. And everyone that has a job and has bills knows exactly how it feels to see the money come into your bank account just to send it off so you can keep living the way you do.

Blah.

Anywho, tomorrow is the last day for my site supervisor. I don't like the person they're promoting, but I don't want the responsibility that comes with that title so I guess I can't say too much into who go the position. I do still wish they had promoted the other guy who applied for the position. I think he'd be a better supervisor and not just because I get along with him better. I feel as if he'd just be more of a fit for the role.

I really don't know why I'm blogging. I actually have nothing to say. I guess I'll write when I do have something to talk about.

Ah, most of us blog when we've got nothing to talk about. 'Tis the way of the world. :P

I have to say, I don't think my musical taste is affected by my friends or anything... if it was I'd like girly pop tunes and mainstream hits from the eighties... along with some indie alternative stuff...

I guess I'm kinda confused...
...you say that making more money means you have less to spend? Is that in the metaphorical sense, that you have to take on the burden of dealing with it properly?

I dunno, I've been thinking about money lately...I'm realizing that pretty much all of the great things I am privileged to enjoy are because my parents can afford it. And of course I don't want to rely on them forever, but I'm afraid that I won't grow up to make enough so that I can enjoy the little things...going out to dinner just because you can, you know, that sort of thing. So I don't know, I don't really see making more money as a bad thing...if there's more responsibility, so be it, because there is also more opportunity.
