welcome to my mind ...

I know I said I was going to try and avoid rants, but alas, they are not always avoidable. I'll do my best to at least keep it short.

{First, a quick insert} Mondays usually suck. Today wasn't any different. Probably since I was only working on about 3 hours of sleep. But it seemed to be a weird day for everyone and it all had to do with it being the end of a weekend and the start of a new week. Blah. {End of quick insert}

Now, the real reason behind the rant. When my boyfriend's mom gets home from work every day, she [usually] comes home to a clean kitchen/living room. She'll sit down to rest for a bit, watch some TV, possibly get on the computer or go out for a walk. All in all a fairly restful end of the day.

My boyfriend gets home from work and either plays on his PS3, watches a little TV or comes in to cuddle/play on the comp/sleep. Again, a fairly restful end to the day.

I, on the other hand, come home from work and have to clean the house. I love how most of the mess ... has absolutely nothing to do with me. I keep my small areas of the house clean. Or at least in an organized mess. Mostly, I'm in the bedroom. I venture into the kitchen and use maybe a plate or glass, which I clean after I'm finished with it.

I've made it now so that I'm only cleaning the house 3 days of the week. I have my boyfriend do it on his two days off and I don't touch anything on weekends; leaving it up to the other two to decide who cleans what. I feel I deserve to enjoy my two days off after working the whole week and coming home to clean 3 out of the 5 days.

Urgh, this turned out longer than it should have been. Oh well. I'll end it here before it keeps going.

I get the feeling that you'd hate being a housewife. :P

I should tell them really. Once they become too dependent on you to do these stuff, if there's anything wrong, you'll be to blame.
