This might be a little long; it's been a while since I've posted anyway and a few things have happened during the down time that I'd like to write about.

First off, I finally figured out why my car payments were freakishly high and it wasn't because I had made one late payment, as I had previously thought was the issue {I had to start paying $497.18/month for a little Nissan Versa; outrageous even if it was because of a late payment, considering my regular payment is only $338.55.}

I called them up and questioned it. It turns out that because I didn't provide my finance company proof of my own car insurance, they automatically started charging me for car insurance, without notifying me, bumping my monthly payments up more than $150 extra per month.

In finding this out, I found out exactly what I had to do to get it fixed and got the numbers necessary to fix it. I then called my insurance company, told them what was going on, gave them the number to fax over my information and I made sure to have them fax proof I had had my insurance with them since before I even purchased my vehicle. The guy from my finance company told me it would take about a week to go through so I'll be calling them on Tuesday to find out if everything went through. I'll also be calling my lawyer to find out how to get the money reimbursed.

I'll be updating when that happens.

Anywho, yesterday was mine and Jacob's one year anniversary. We saw Knowing, went the The Melting Pot for dinner and saw I Love You, Man afterwards. Knowing was okay. Nothing totally spectacular, but it wasn't too bad. I Love You, Man was funny. I'd have to say that the whole audience was laughing for more than half the movie. I'd recommend seeing it. We didn't make a big deal of the day, but it was a very nice day out for the two of us.

That's about all I've got for now. If I don't post sooner, then expect an entry sometime around Tuesday-ish.

{EDIT} I burned my tongue really badly a couple days ago ... it hurts to the point where food isn't even remotly appealing anymore. You can also visibly see the two white bumps on the edge of my tongue. It sucks that they're so close to my teeth. Ugh.

One thing you can do if your insurance issue isn't settled by Tuesday, don't pay your installments until it is settled.

Yeah, they're like SpaghettiOs.

I have super brand loyalty to Trader Joe's though, so even if something else is cheaper I will probably go for the TJ version. :P (Also Trader Joe's often uses healthier ingredients)

That extra charge sucks. :( Of course, if they just added it to your total car payments it'd mean you'd have to pay fewer ones, right...?

It's a little hard not to watch Heroes to kill time when it is one of the fastest to download. I'm still waiting for my first season of Reaper to finish downloading.. it's taking forever.
