Jake came over yesterday around 4:45ish pm. We were supposed to go bowling last night, but I just didn't feel like going bowling with only two people so I asked if we could just hang out at home. He was down, so we ended up watching Dane Cook: Vicious Circle, Jeff Dunham: Arguing With Myself and Jeff Dunham: Spark of Insanity. All right in a row.

After that was over it was pretty late {after 2am} so he just stayed overnight. Ma got a little bothered because I didn't tell her that he was staying. She doesn't care that he stayed, she just wants to know in case she or Steve come out of their room in the middle of the night. This way they can be decently dressed for company that's not usually in the house. I'll just make sure to text her next time he stays over.

We woke up in the morning around 8ish am. I got up around 9, took a quick shower and we headed over to his place. He needed to clean up some and take care of the dog before his mom got home. When he was done taking care of the dog, we hung out there for a little bit, watched another couple movies and decided to leave.

Just after we pulled out of the apartment complex, his mom called. I haven't even met her yet and she's a trip. She asked what Jake was doing, he told her he was out and about. Her response was {and yes, I heard it} "are you with her?" There was even a tone! Which made it hard for me not to laugh; she would have heard me laughing.

Since there aren't too many movies out that I'm interested in seeing right now, we went down to the Strip. Parked at the Venetian, wandered the stores, left and walked down to the Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace. He had never been there, so that's what made me decide to take him there.

Wandered around for a bit, but it was getting kinda late, I still needed to go to the store and he had to meet up with his mom for dinner.

He left a little over an hour ago. Basically, I spent the last 24 hours with him and each moment was fun.

Anywho, the Mexican family behind us, two houses down is apparently having a party. They've got a full-on Mexican DJ {loud-ass music included,} lights, balloons, the works. It's annoying having to listen to this shit over my TV. I can't shut the windows, though, because it'll get stuffy in my room. Damnit.

Well, that's what's been going on since the last time I blogged. I shall do my best to blog tomorrow. {I have to work, so I'm sure you'll hear about it.}

Wow. I wonder if his mom is the possessive type. Or maybe she meant a different "her"...?
