I'm still sick. I mean, yeah, I wasn't expecting to be better in one day. But it's really annoying being sick for longer than a day.

My work is an iffy thing right now. I filled out the paperwork to keep me on as a regular employee, rather than just for seasonal. But because the season is over, the hours available have been cut. My boss has only been given so many hours to work with and has to fit in all her employees in that short time limit. So not just my hours have been cut. I've gone from working close to 40 hours a week to working less than 30.

This cold also came at a bad time. I can't afford to miss work. I need every penny I can get, but I also need my rest so that the cold doesn't get worse. If it gets worse I'll have to miss work. It's just a really big inconvenience. I've never known a cold to ever come at a 'convenient' time.

In other news, I haven't taken advantage of the after-Christmas sales. I haven't really seen anything that I've liked. Maybe when I get better I'll go out and see what's left.

I'd like to hang out with some of the people at work, but I have a feeling I don't really fit in with them. They've all known each other for quite some time. I'm friendly enough and I get along with everyone alright, but all the talk of possibly inviting me out with them has been only that, talk. Maybe one day that'll change.

You know what? Don't come on here till your cold is getting better. Your job is more important than NuTang right now. So go get some sleep instead of stalking us over here till you're all better.
Ah.. I know how you feel about hanging out. That's how I feel with my classmates too. I don't know why.

I know how inconvenient colds can be. I usually get them when it couldn't get more inconvenient. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that going from the cooler at work and into the heat all the time will not make me get sick. I have chronic sore throats now, though.

I hope that your coworkers come around and invite you out to hang with them some day soon!

My bosses brother had his bluetooth set permanently stuck to his ear but it was pretty easy for me to tell when he was talking to me or not because he would speak to me in english. When he was on the phone he'd speak another language. He's from India and I can not think of what language it is that they speak there, at the moment. Otherwise it drives me nuts when people keep their bluetooth stuck to their ears permanently. Especially if that person is looking at me, yet talking to someone else on the phone.

You should get a bluetooth set. Just hook it to your ear when you are on the phone and take it off when you're not. That's what I'd do. Unfortunately my phone isn't cool enough for me to use bluetooth with it.

I'm also glad that your job isn't just seasonal anymore. Hopefully your hours will go up soon.
