Morals and Ethics
Morals: principles or habits with respect to right or wrong conduct
Ethics: a complex of moral precepts held or rules of conduct followed by an individual
First I should explains some things. "Red" is what the Alliance comes up to me as so I call them red or reds. My husband calls me a racist and is trying to get me to call them Alliance. That's too long though and "red/s" sums it up nicely. Grey means the person so much lower then you that you won't get any experience or in pvp they don't have a fighting chance. Green means in pvp it means if they aren't a twink you'll probably kill them. Yellow means they are close to your level. Orange means they are about 3-4 levels higher then you. Red means they are 5+. Skull means death, quick or slow depending on what they decide.
It seems that WoW is seriously lacking in morals and ethics when it comes to pvp. My husband laughs because 1) I'm a pussy when it comes to pvp (Any sign of trouble even when he's around and I "bubble" myself.) and 2) I won't kill every "red" I see. "You know they would kill you if they could," he told me last night. Perhaps, but I'm not them. I don't kill people who are grey. I don't kill people who are farming for trade skill stuff to sell or use. I don't kill people who are fighting other people or mobs. I may or may not kill someone who isn't doing the above depending on what they come up as. These are my morals and ethics in the game. I will hand someone their ass or have my husband do it if they piss me off. Which happened last night and has happened a few other times since I started to play.
A few nights ago I went through a zone controlled by the "reds" and it was basically for people who would be about 10 or more levels lower then me. I saw about 5 people and left them alone...almost. One "group" decided to try and kill me. 5 against 1 little ol' me, how could they lose? I decided since they were grey to just "bubble" and run away. My husband laughed and called me a pussy since they are grey. I realized that they all fell back and their stupid 29 druid friend kept trying to bring me down I got pissed. I tried to be nice. I tried to just leave them alone and show that I wouldn't hand them their ass, but the druid was stupid so I killed him. It was quick and painless. :) I may not start a fight with a grey, but I'll damn well finish it! XD I also saw someone about 6 levels below me who was green, but he was trade skill hunting so I left him alone.
The other night I was trying to finish up a quest that involves some goblin miners who have a far agro range and seemed to love to gang rape the crap out of my character, I died 4 times! There was a "red" there who was really nice. If he saw me in trouble he'd come help me and so I'd do the same. Finally someone who just wanted to get the damn quest done and didn't mind helping anyone in need. We were both pallies and he was only one level lower then me so we could have done a fair duel, but the drop rate on the goblins was horrid so we just kept at our quest. My husband called him a "fucking care bear" (and so am I it seems) when I pointed out not all "reds" just kill when you're fighting something and can be honorable.
A co-worker who plays isn't even pvp flagged, but will go kill people 40 levels lower then him that are. I find that very cheap and sad. Pick on someone who's going to put up a fight. The co-worker isn't even pvp flagged himself so there's no other word I can think of for that kind of act, but "pussy". I did find out though that when he does kill someone he becomes pvp flagged. I don't think he knows or realizes how many low levels out there are twinks/alts so I'm hoping he finds out the hard way so he quicks picking on those so much lower. :) Evil yes, but a lesson he needs to learn. He also said he wanted to come to my server to kill me. Sure he probably could, but then I would have to log onto the Warlock and corpse camp him and stalk him until my need to revenge was satisfied. Or I'd have my husband do it, both works for me. :)
Oh.. not only them in WoW... I was lining up to pay at Carrefour earlier and this old man just came out of no where complaining the couple in front of me having more than 10 items at the express lane and he TRIED to jump in front of me.. til I told him off. Look who's talking heh?
Btw, I assume you haven't got to the level you wanted yet.

Haha! I never have more than 10 items when I go grocery shopping, renaye! Well, the couple infront of me have been there for sometime so I don't really mind. It's that old man who jumped the queue who made such a big fuss. I feel like shouting at him with a heavy english accent but I don't see the point as I'm about to pay away.
Yes, ang pau is the red envelope with money where married couples give those who aren't married yet during Chinese New Year XD
