Haha, I'll let you know. It's 10 cents a month, according to Dave. It doesn't sound horrid, but if I keep tossing NuTang money in there every 4 or so months, it might start a nice chunk of extra.

Sigh. Not 10 cents, but almost.

go to the testriffic site; go to your profile and click on the test answers link under the Tests I've Made section; you can delete the people and their scores who have taken the test

Not related to this entry, but...
I have been inspired to scour the web (and my giant pharmacology reference book) for information on Soma and have discovered something potentially interesting. Ordinarily, the time it takes to reach peak blood concentration is anywhere from 1-3 hours, and its elimination half-life is about 1.5-3.5 hours. However, metabolism of Soma takes place in the liver by the enzyme cytochrome P450 CYP2C19. CYP2C19 is genetically polymorphic, which is a "type of variation in which individuals with sharply distinct qualities [in this case, the functionality of CYP2C19] co-exist as normal members of a population." The interesting part is that 15-20% of people of Asian descent can be classified as poor metabolizers of certain drugs due to a non-functional or reduced-functionality version of CYP2C19. If you take the drug before bed, it should clear your system by the time you wake up and drive, right? Well, if you're stuck with a crappy CYP2C19 gene, then it won't clear all that easily. Just something to think about. Might be something you can bring up with your doctor to see if you can get a medication that would affect you less?

ha, yeah that's me :)

Re:comment
Well, pretty much everything metabolizes in the liver, but if you were to be one of those 15-20% who has a crappy CYP2C19 enzyme in your liver, then yeah, Soma will stay in your system longer, since it is metabolized by that enzyme.

I'm sure that there's a suitable alternative to Soma that doesn't require CYP2C19. It's worth asking for one if you feel loopy all the time. :)

Yes, the day is fast approaching! And then it's on your side while replying to comments... if you aren't sleeping or doped up on something, lol. I hope you've practiced the art of typing sideways, but if you don't get to the computer as often as usual then I suppose we can forgive you. Maybe. :P
