Reducing Carbs can keep you looking young
Insulin has been labelled as the main culprit to invite ageing early. Eating too much of carbohydrates results in high insulin levels. Increased insulin levels tell the body to store carbohydrates as fat. They also tell it not to release any stored fat. It makes sure that you stay fat. Even worse, high insulin levels also suppress the growth hormone that is responsible for remaining young.
High levels of insulin can cause major health problems like diabetes, hypertension, obesity, high levels of cholesterol, heart disease, kidney disease, female infertility and neuro-degeneration. Greasy fast-food, nutrient-deprived processed foods and over-cooked vegetables are the junk food. Polished grains, sweets, soft drinks, and high-starch foods like potatoes, burgers and pizzas lead to overweight, and give you the looks and feeling of being older. If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms, chances are that the excess carbohydrates in your body are, in part or whole, to blame:
* Excess weight
* Fatigue and frequent sleepiness
* Depression
* Brain fogginess
* Bloating
* Low blood sugar and high blood pressure
* High triglycerides
One of the most important things you can do for preventing old age and its diseases is to decrease the intake of carbohydrates, especially those drawn from foods grown below the surface of earth.

I was reading that it is good to vent your anger and frustration. The goal is to be optimistic, positive, and enthusiatic. But you cannot get to that level until you deal with your anger and frustration. I just noticed that everything out of my mouth lately has been negative or mean. I keep saying, I hate this or I hate that or I just complain about every little thing. This has really caused a lot of problems between my bf and I so I really want to change it.
At first I was just telling myself not to speak unless I have something positive to say or dont begin sentences with the word "I". That worked for a little bit but I came home so frustrated and angry. Then I read that in order to feel good you must go through feeling bad. You cant skip in between.
Therefore I am going to create an anger blog. hee hee! I dont know where yet. Maybe I will create it on blogger or better yet I will use my livejournal as my anger blog.
So bottom line... to feel happy you must also feel anger, pessimism, depression, loss etc..

I did not get the job at Cerritos College either. I sank into such a deep depression that I did not want to do anything. But like with anything....depression attracts more depression. I need to get out of this way of thinking so that I do not attract things to me that I do not want.
Back to listening to "the secret"... :)
