This is hardly a surprise, but is nonetheless still disturbing.
According to CNN.com, a recent study measured the amount of germs left behind after guests with "lab-confirmed rhinovirus colds" checked out of hotel rooms.
Doctors swooped in after the guests departed and found the nasty virus alive and well on hotel pens, TV remotes, light switches, faucets, telephones, coffee makers, alarm clocks and shower curtains.
Totally nasty! Eventhough the maid changes your sheets your room is still contaminated!
Windows only: Convert nearly any video format to nearly any other video format with the aptly named Any Video Converter.
The program supports just about every video format known to man, including AVI, DivX, FLV, RM, and VOB. It also comes with output profiles for devices like the iPod and PSP, though you can easily create a custom profile with the audio and video specs of your choosing.
AVC couldn't be much easier to use, and it supports batch conversions--always a nice perk. You'll definitely want to add this utility to your video arsenal (though don't overlook Videora Converter, arguably a better choice for converting videos for mobile devices). Any Video Converter is free for Windows. — Rick Broida

Are parents responsible for their children’s eating disorders?
Supermodel Gisele Bundchen says weak families are to blame for anorexia -- not the fashion industry that has been widely criticized for promoting waifish silhouettes, Reuters reports.
"I never suffered from this problem (anorexia) because I had a very strong family base. Parents are responsible, not the fashion industry," she said in the Friday edition of O Globo newspaper.
Gisele, who was ranked 16 on Forbes' list of the 20 richest women in entertainment this week, said that being skinny just goes with the territory in cat-walking.
"Everybody knows that the norm in fashion is thin," said the model who is 5'11" and 125 pounds. "But excuse me, there are people born with the right genes for this profession."
I THINK A PART OF ANOREXIA IS DEPRESSION DISORDER AND THAT ALONE IS GENETIC..
