quotes.
"Pain, you just have to ride it out, hope it goes away on its own, hope the wound that caused it heals. There are no solutions, no easy answers. You just breath deep and wait for it to subside. Most of the time pain can be managed, but sometimes the pain gets you where you least expect it. Hits way below the belt and doesn't let up. Pain, you just have to fight through, because the truth is you can't outrun it and life always makes more."

"Forgive and forget. That's what they say. It's good advice, but it's not very practical. When someone hurts us, we want to hurt them back. When someone wrongs us, we want to be right. Without forgiveness, old scores are never settled, old wombs never heal, and the most we can hope for is that one day we'll be lucky enough to forget."
"are you into punk?"

WEDNESDAY night, my cousin and I went to Hollywood. We wanted to go to the Knitting Factory, but ended up taking a stroll down that celebrity sidewalk thingy with all the stars on it. Yeah, you know what I'm talking about. Haha anyway, we're walking out onto the sidewalk when we see these guys walking along. They stopped right in front of us, when we were just a couple of feet away from the sidewalk and this kid goes, "are you into punk?" So I just looked at him and hesitated for a while, till I finally said, "yeah." So he goes, "Oh that's cool, were you guys checking out a show?" and I said, "no, we're just here to walk around." Oh and did I mention while this was going on, my cousin was somewhere behind talking to some other guy that went up to her too? It was weird. So we're all just walking and the guy talking to me introduces himself and whatnot and starts telling me why they're out and that they're sponsored skaters and that he's in a band and he's close to getting a record deal from Epitaph and his whole view on "PUNK" as if it were an essay topic. During this whole conversation, I kept thinking to myself, "Man, he's totally lying." So after that, somehow the guy my cousin was talking to started talking to me, and the guy that was talking to me, started talking to my cousin. I didn't even mention there were two other guys there, all by themself because their friends were talking to us. So this OTHER guy starts talking to me. Yeah blahblahblah the basics. You know. Just small talk. So, finally we're about to cross the street (thank goodness) and the guy goes, "Do you have a myspace?" and i'm just like, "yeah I do." So he asks me for mine and pulls out a pen waiting for me to write it on his hand, but I just went, "oh why don't you just give me yours?" So he pulls out a ripped flyer from his wallet and wrote his email on there and as I took and was about to walk away, he asked me for mine. DAMN. I was so close to leaving, so I couldn't say no, and I just wrote it down on the paper he gave me and left.

The store we ended up wanting to go to turned out to be closed when we got there, because those kids took up our time. Agh. So yeah on the way back to the car, we saw them again and I told them we were leaving and junk and he shook my hand, but wouldn't let go? I don't know. Yuck. Ahh. So we finally left and yeah. Ugh, i'm never going back there at night.

So yesterday was thursday. The Silverstein show at the Troubadour was SOLD OUT. /= So I went with the cousins to Santa Monica. There was some autograph signing of some kind and I saw my friend Jenny working at Puma. So that was cool. Afterwards I did some back-up singing for some guy playing Maroon5 on the street. Hahahah. No. Actually I was sitting behind him near the fountain and I was singing along. (= But I had to leave because my cousins left me behind, then we went to Glendale and hung out at my cousin's friend's shop. It was cool I guess. They have a ton load of boxes of glowsticks. Like any kind that you can imagine, cuz they sell them to people. There's like A LOT. Oh and I got a pack with 100 of those bracelet glowsticks. How cool! (= So on the way home my cousin and I were playing with them in the backseat pretending to rave. It's fun to pretend. Hahaha. Well yeah, we hung out and got home 5 minutes to 1.

AND TODAY.. I had a math test. I showed up to class when they had already started, but I was one of the few to finish and leave early. So after that I went to Jamba Juice and headed home. I did some cleaning.. but I know there's more to do when my mom gets home oh yeah.. and errands. gah, i'm tired. I think I shall rest now.
