So I didn't get much sleep last night. I probably went to bed around 3 something, doing absolutely
nothing. My mom woke me up at
9 to get ready to go to Chinatown. So I got ready and we left 10ish. It was kinda cold today, but then
bearable.
I wanted to sleep in the car, but for some reason I couldn't. We got to Chinatown around 11 and headed to the barber place. My mom was getting her hair done and my brother was getting a haircut. Right after my brother got his haircut, my dad, brother, and I left and walked around for toys. We left our mom because she was getting her hair permed, or something like that?
My dad bought me the
air freshener for my car that I've been wanting. Hahah and he bought my brother a plastic sword. I was crossing the street and I thought I saw
someone familiar, then I saw the back of the car he was driving and I was right! It was Tommy. Hahah. It was too late for me to say hi, ha
sorry. Afterwards we went back for my mom and we walked around more and she bought me
seatbelt covers that have a cellphone pocket, which is pretty nifty I think. Then she bought me this inflatable Pucca seat thing. Ha it's cool. After she bought a clock and some food and we finally left.
So then we headed to
Sherman Oaks. It was too windy. The hairs on my arm were standing and you could
see my goosebumps. I didn't want to walk all the way back to the parking structure just to get my sweater. So we went to
DWS and I got some shoes because my mom had been nagging me for a while telling me I need some dress shoes. We finally agreed on some, and they were these black satin shoes with sequins and beads on it and a little heel. When I was trying them on this lady goes,
"Aw these shoes are cute" and her friend goes,
"Yeah, they're funky." When they walked away my mom goes,
"Yeah, funky.. You are funky." Then I go,
"Why do you always have to listen to other people, why not get it as long as you like it?.. I'd rather be funky, than be boring." Then my mom was just saying stuff, and I wasn't quite listening to her and then she goes,
"I never thought I'd have a funky daughter." Ha wow. I just
stayed quiet. I didn't want to say anything to
provoke her, so I just let it go. I found it quite amusing though. Then we walked in some boutique place because they had "
funky" clothes, or so my mom says. The shirt my mom wanted me to get was $198. Everything was so expensive so I told her that we should just leave. Later on my dad got us
Ben & Jerry's and bought my brother a toy from some Robot toy store.
So we left and went to
Topanga Canyon and went to
Frye's. My mom bought a hair straightener for herself and we got Shaolin Soccer. Ha, my parents are going to buy me an
IPOD.. or so they say it's a graduation gift, but then my dad promised he'd get me one a while ago. I really
want a new
digital camera though.
Afterwards we went to
Van Nuys and went to some filipino places and I bought boba at
Lollicup. Yum.
I ate a lot today. Damn. I'm
still full. We got home around 8 and I did some stuff for my parents. We just finished watching Shaolin Soccer. It's like my 3rd time seeing this, but I wanted the DVD and now we have it. Yes! Hahaha the movie's funny. Man
I'm tired, oh and I missed Salutes Practice. =\ Sorry! Okay..
