Time to rant
Wednesday. 2.7.07 6:07 pm
I somewhat feel like ranting. But I somewhat don't want to not rant. So basically, I will rant.

I'm so sick of having to go around people who stand in the middle of the hallway, expecting everyone else to parade around them without "scuffing their kicks." It happens everyday. There is always a pack of ignorant dumbitches who will pack themselves center in the hallway, and are extremely offended when you shove them the hell out of your way. Usually they cry about % ," or something of the like. Yup, awesome

I'm a little miffed about my PSAT (practice SAT) scores. I did OK I guess...not really as good as I probably could, but top 86% out of 1.4 million isn't terrible. Of course my dad had something else to say. He just looked at it, asked me if I'd been reading this SAT-prep book he'd bought for me. I said yeah. It ended with him saying "As long as you try your hardest, I'll accept whatever score you get." Oh thank you dad. I'm so glad that you'll accept my score. Here I was thinking that my goals were the ones I were trying to meet. Thank goodness I was wrong [/endsarcasm] .

Ok so I had some really good news, but typing this has just bummed me out completely. I'll fill in later.

Bleh. bye.

Do not try to bend the spoon. That's impossible. Instead, try to realize the truth. There is no spoon. Then you will see that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself.

SAT scores don't reflect your overall intelligence, just how good you are at taking a test. I think that as long as your GPA is up there, (which also isn't a reflection of your intelligence, just how hard you work)and you've got decent community service hours, you'll get into a good school.

In response to the people whos kicks you scuffed, you can look forward to those people always being a part of our life. In highschool people with that mentality are in the hallways, just chillin', talking about shit that isn't important (atleast to me, and apparently to you.). These kids'll most likely be in HS for a long time, or go to community college only to drop out after A) They realize that a 2.0 GPA in community college won't cut it, B) They end up becoming a parent and have to choose between school and being responsible, or C) They drop out to become a bum. Either way, don't let them get to you. I know it sounds cliche to just "Dust your shoulder off," but thats all you can really do, outside of start a confrontation, which isn't very smart.

Just know that brighter, and easier days are ahead.

Wow. My comment was almost as long as your entry. Sorry.

i know one kid
that always wants to know what i made on so-and-so test. he's a complete idiot, but he somehow makes better grades than me, and he likes to be sure i know it.

At this point, you 1) step on their shoes; 2) ignore them; 3) when they get pissy with you, stare them straight in the eye, give them the "bitch, I WILL cut you" look, and walk away.

School is not about keeping your shoes clean.

Your hallway people are like some of the girls at my school... they wear mini skirts and tanktops when it's freezing cold outside, then complain that it didn't look cold when they left the house. :P Stupidity knows no bounds...

I hate it when my parents talk about how they were in school versus how I am in school and stuff. It's like... "Haven't you read all the news in the last like, twenty years? School sucks a lot more now, and things are harder. LEAVE ME ALONE!"

They never seem to get it though. :/

Hope you feel uh... less.... rant-prone.

I told my mom that I want the last Harry Potter book as a birthday present and she told me: "We shall see how many A's did you get." >.
