Oh Piglet...
Sunday. 2.3.08 11:54 pm

You scored 13 Ego, 15 Anxiety, and 6 Agency!

"It's a little Anxious," he said to himself, "to be a
Very Small Animal Entirely Surrounded by Water. Christopher
Robin and Pooh could escape by Climbing Trees, and Kanga could
escape by Jumping, and Rabbit could escape by Burrowing, and
Owl could escape by Flying, and Eeyore could escape by -- by
Making a Loud Noise Until Rescued, and here am I, surrounded by
water and I can't do anything."

You scored as Piglet!

ABOUT PIGLET: Piglet is a Very Small Animal, who used to live in his own house, a nice big tree. However, after Owl's house was blown over by a storm, he "found" Piglet's house, and Piglet didn't want to tell him that the home was already lived in. So he went to live with Pooh.

WHAT THIS SAYS ABOUT YOU: You are a rather nervous person, and you tend to worry about The Worst happening. You don't really feel capable of dealing with the things that life could throw at you, and so you tend to fret about it. You are one of those people who seems to think that worrying actually accomplishes something... and your friends can't help but love you for it. Your humble manner and self-deprecating ways make your friends feel good about themselves. They want to help and protect you.

Your loving friends are always trying to encourage you to be more independent, and they are right. You need to develop a bit of self confidence and stand on your own two feet.

This test tracked 3 variables. How the score compared to the other people's:
Higher than 99% on Ego
Higher than 99% on Anxiety
Higher than 99% on Agency

Gregory Picture Time!
Sunday. 2.3.08 11:46 am
Yesterday, we went and got Gregory's pictures. I think they turned out pretty cute...and hell, he was in a football mood (okay, I was in a football mood).

Here's the pics:

Now we have some other ones that aren't so football related...(oh yeah, he's wearing a Matt Hasselbeck jersey...a gift from my brother...Go Seahawks!...next year)...

My favorite one of these is the one where he's laying on his tummy...I love this picture!

Now...I got a picture that was sort of Valentine's Dayish...but I had better visions of how this picture would turn out in my head than how they actually turned out...here's this one:

But there is the Greg Monster in all his glory!

Last night...hung out at a bar...did WAY too many shots and came home. Two shots of tequila, 2 shots of goldschlager, 2 shots of this thing called an Adios Motherfucker, 2 shots of this thing called a Wet Pussy, 1 shot of this called Liquid Marijuana...not to mention, I had drank 3 rum and cokes before all the shots happened. I had way too many drinks. My poor friend from work. She was getting really sick so we had walked her to the bathroom (well, I had) and she threw up in the stall. As she was getting up to walk out of the stall, she walked about 2 steps and fell like a tree in a forest...her head hit the concrete BAD. Poor thing...she felt like shit after that and we left because even though she said she was having fun, you could so tell she was not having fun. I guess I can hold my liquor better than she can but I feel absolutely horrible that she fell!!!

Anyway...I'm about done with this entry...it was all about the Greg Monster photos anyway :)

You know...I'm going through severe withdrawls...

I was listing to 93.3 this morning and it's BOWL WEEK and they are playing little sets of 3 or 4 songs by bands on the top of the hour every hour this week going up to the Super Bowl. Here is the radio station's description...which gives it way more justice:

Bowl Week on Channel 93.3!

We're giving you your daily dose of your favorite bands!
Hear "bowl fulls" of songs in a row from your favorite Modern Rock artists, during Channel 93.3's "Bowl" week.

It could be 2 songs, 3 songs or even more!

Bowl Week on Channel 93.3 starts at the top of every hour, and runs all the way through the "Big Game" on Sunday.

Anyway, they played a "bowl full" of MUSE this morning at 8am and I was all drooling over them for the rest of the day. I flipped my Zune on to play all my MUSE for the rest of the day...

Then I really REALLY wanted to see them in concert again. You don't even know how badly I would want to see them again. I would give my first born son (okay, maybe not that far) to see them again. I'm crossing my fingers that they return to the states in 2008. If not, I will be very sad :( They really do have a big following here and seriously, coming from a fan who has listened to them since they hit Seattle with a vengeance...I TRULY ADORE THIS BAND.

Okay...I'm done drooling over the best band in the world.

Later on in the day, the radio station played a "bowl full" of Bad Religion. Unfortunately, I missed the beginning of it as I was clocking out and getting out into my car and brushing the 1 inch (MY ASS) of snow off my car. They said it was going to snow 1 inch and it snowed 6 inches or something...and then it was a complete bitch and a half to drive home...almost got t-boned by some retard turning a corner faster than he should have been...ASSHOLES that drive in the snow...PISS ME OFF...

Okay...that anger totally ruined my good MUSE vibes :)

Here...you get a classic video off their Absolution album:

What a morning
Wednesday. 1.30.08 9:08 am
Other than the fact that I didn't want to get up and drag myself into the shower, I eventually stumbled into work on time. My guess, I'll get to leave here at about 7pm (same as last night). 12 hours days are peachy...I suppose...at this time of the month.

I was drawing last night and I should really post some of the pictures that I draw because I drew a koala bear and it seriously looks like a koala bear! I suprised myself! It was all fuzzy and somewhat non-cartoonish. I am all about the realistic drawing. I can't wait to where we can get to shade the things that I'm drawing. I've drawn some chairs and stuff before freehand and I liked how some of them turned out, but for the life of me, I don't remember where they went. I think the last time I saw them was when I was putting them in my portfolio...but you know how that goes. My portfolio is sitting somewhere collecting dust.

Sometimes I get the urge to draw...other times, I want to mess around in photoshop and do all sorts of graphics. Maybe I'll dabble with that and post some of those too. Don't ask me why I'm in such a creative mood now, but I am....and I'm not sure if I like it (okay, I lied...I do like it).

Anyway, I should really be going...much work to do and no time to play.

I am determined...
Wednesday. 1.30.08 12:29 am
to learn how to draw.

I looked at the lessons that were up on http://www.drawspace.com and I really do think that this is something I can do.

I've never really drawn before in my life, so we'll see how these drawing lessons turn out. I was reading some of the comments people posted under the lessons about how they've never picked up a pencil in their life and their photos look phenomenal! I'm gonna try it!

Okay, my exciting news is on halt again. I'm waiting to go to this meeting with my supervisor on the supervisor of the other position but it's not working out. I'm hoping it is to discuss whether or not I can leave and if so, when...*crossing fingers* Well, I know when...but the matter is...CAN I LEAVE? It's so nerve wracking!

Anyway...I'll be back later.

It's been a few days...
Tuesday. 1.29.08 8:25 am
but it seriously feels like an eternity.

Greg has gone to the doctor 2 times since we got back from Seattle. I told you guys about the visit last Tuesday where they told me has RSV. To be honest, he coughed like hell really bad on Thursday and he's still coughing really bad to this day, but it is getting a lot better. I think he's on the uphill slope of this cold and it's good.

Yesterday was his well-child visit (haha...he was sick)...they gave him his shots. The only thing new they did this time was the MMR shot (ouch...I remember this one) and they gave him a chickenpox shot (will he get chickenpox then????). Other than that, his lungs are peachy, he has a big head (I'm not sure if I disclosed the fact that he had to have an MRI on his head back at the beginning of December...if not, I will write about that in my next entry...just let me know)...normal all else.

Saturday, my friend and I went to The Melting Pot...OH YUMMY...I love this place. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD! The fact that between the both of us, we spent $100...the food was phenomenal. I know I've written about the melting pot before, but I figured I'd write about it again. Fondue kicks ass!

Okay, I really need to head off to work. I shall write more about other stuff when I get home tonight. Maybe have good news (yes, more good news) or I may have shitty news...we'll see.

Okay...my news sort of sucks now
Wednesday. 1.23.08 11:58 pm
I thought I would have good news about getting a better job in a different department, however, my manager somewhat put a stop to that...

In other news...Greg appears to be getting worse :(

When he cries, he gets EXTREMELY wheezy and it's sort of sad. You don't want to make him cry, yet, at the same time, you don't want to not discipline him when he does something that he's not supposed to. He sounds HORRIBLE when he's crying. His cry doesn't even sound like it normally does. It sounds like a pained wail and he is gasping for air...gulping. I hate it!

But yeah...I hate being sick and now I hate having my little boy sick!

Today has been such a drag...
Wednesday. 1.23.08 3:01 pm
I'll have to write later, but seriously...do you know how exausted you get when you only get 4 hours of sleep. It's HORRIBLE!

I have exciting news, but I'll save it for later...hehe
