Finally gotten the time to blog. D.D. and I finally went for our cycling trip that we planned since Dec 2008 after his exams. Weather was really pleasant, very windy and abit of sun. Struggled to find the bus stop to alight before walking over to East Coast Park. Rented 2 bicylces for $12 (2 hours), quite reasonable lah. There were many tents parked along the grass patch and beach, wondering what the people are doing inside, hehehe... Felt very refreshing after so long, while cycling, i watched many little kids cycling on those 4 wheel bikes or literally walking on their skates. Very cute and innocent looking. I wish when my turn comes, I will be able to bring my kids down maybe twice a month? After 2 hours, we were literally shagged and not to mention that D.D. was so high that he drank beer? Drink cycling? After that D.D. suggested walking to Parkway Parade, claiming that he knew the way and pointing to the invisble shopping centre. In the end, I just couldn't take it, we took a bus ride of ard 3 bus stops before finally reaching our target. Really tired, maybe I lack of regular exercise. Anyway, we took some pics of the fun day.

A stalker is watching me

Realised that someone was watching me 1 floor above diagonally. I was hanging my towel near the windows when I spotted a figure and I looked at "him" before he hid behind the windows. He then switched off the lights and closed his other windows. But somehow i saw that he was slowly shutting the window and peering out of it and then walking back to the other window. Very confusing rite? I quickly ran for my camera and tried to catch him in action. Took a few photos of the windows, got human shadow, but not sure whether it was him. I shall keep up my guard against this bastard. Watch out, I know where you live.

Some pics for analysing:

Ok, to end this post on a good note, shall share that I bought a pair of really cool shoes. Looks like a guys shoe, with the patterns of a working shoe. I am looking forward to wearing them in Taiwan in Jun. Woohooo!!! Will be staying at home till dinner with Grace, Mayboo and Betty in town. That's all. C Ya.

A peaceful 2009 CNY
Saturday. 1.31.09 9:38 am
This year, I spent my new year in Singapore not going back to Malaysia to visit my relatives. Been a really quiet new year, only visited 2 house, hahaha. Rest of the time is at home watching TV. Actually to be specific, my dad was the sole person controlling the Controller switching btw the tennis (Australian open), badminton channel, china show and etc... I had no say, so i sat there watching watever he was shown. Sad rite? Other than that, it was my 1st year with D.D. during CNY. Think D.D. said he was happy, but I tink he dreaded it coz he lost his freedom.

Anyway, nothing else to blog about, maybe some random pics to share.

Old pals
Monday. 1.19.09 8:22 am
Been sneezing for the past 3 days, kinda sian coz its going to be CNY, and I dun wanna be sick. Just sneezed!!! Also, I wan to be in a good condition for something the next few days, need to be in tip-top condition. All the best and good luck to me!!

Anyway, back to the title of this post. Met up with my uni pals and housemates, Grace, Betty, Mayboo & Leighton. Though it was only 1.5 years of bunking under the same roof, its been a wonderful experience. I still remember those days where you guys will be watching TV outside my room (the TV is JUST directly outside my room), and there will be shouting and jeering especially if its football season. I hated it, coz my door wasn't soundproof. Now, thinking back, it was really funny and memorable. Well, good times is always worth remembering. We met up at Plaza Sing for dinner. Food was at Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe, ok loh. We filled in each other on the updates and went for coffee at Starbucks. Come July, there will be fewer ex-housemates living in Adelaide already. Mayboo will hopefully finish her Bachelor degree and come back to SG and Betty will finish her arts degree and move to Melbourne to study with her Bernard. All the best to you gals for yor studies and life going forward. As for the med students namely, Debby & Leighton, another 2 more years and you guys can practise med, saving the world!! OH, how i miss my freedom during uni days... God bless to all the people I know.

Missing the old days
Thursday. 1.8.09 8:21 am
Visited my poly sch, Singapore's 1st polytechnic- Singapore Poly- during lunch time. Have long wanted to go back to have a look and by chance D.D. & TF were there having lunch. I rushed there, passed by many students (I not student, I adult liao) and open house booths. Time really flies, its been 4 years since i graduated from SP. Met a few familar faces, such as the wierd lecturers. They have really aged, I truly respect them as they have been teaching for so long. Beeing loyal to the school, to the students and books. Kudos to them. Well, the short trip was worth it, it made me treasure what i experienced before and treasure what i have now.

The other day, Channel U was showing On the Beat 3. It was featuring special places in Adelaide. I was glued to the TV. Felt very comforted to see the place where I spent 1.5 years studying. Showing the tallest rocking horse, Glenelg's fish & chips plus the fresh, baked or fried oysters. I really miss Adelaide. I keep saying that I want to go back to visit my frenz there but it just never happen. I hope that I will be able to do just that soon, this year? Anyway, will put up some photos to keep the memory alive. Bless you all!!

On the last day of 2008
Friday. 1.2.09 7:24 am
Met up with my kakis for dinner Tiong Bahru (to avoid the crowd) and headed with everyone in Singapore to the Marina Bay Countdown Party. Think we arrived way too early as the actual program was 2 hours away. People were still arriving when the party started. Before that, there were performances by Ash, River Mia and ... Cant remember coz i was very slpy. At about 10.30pm, the hosts started the show. Program was alright just that the singing was all not Live. Cant really spot the difference. Was surprised that Tay Ping Hui could sing, he sang Jason Miraz's song. Haha... Cool! And now to the much anticipated fireworks. It was beautiful as expected. Felt very near the sparks and could feel the tremor or vibration from it. When everything ended, we headed for dinner after walking about maybe 2 km and headed our home sweet home at 2 plus am. Wat a countdown it was.

Some pics taken as follows:
