Time should fly, right? Thursday. 8.8.13 9:17 pm Considering the fact that I will have next to no free time anymore, theoretically, time will move a lot faster. If I'm not sitting around being bored, wishing that I had something to do and that time would go by faster, then perhaps it actually will. Tomorrow is my one day off. Friday will be my only true day off each week, with an exception in October. Tomorrow will be a busy day. I have laundry to do; I'll have to get it done then since I'll be gone most of Saturday. Unfortunately Friday will probably be my new laundry day, which sucks, but whatever. It's a minor setback. I also have to get quarters for said laundry, open up a new bank account for this new job, go to the mall to purchase more clothing and some new shoes for said job. While I'm up there I'll have to drop off my direct deposit forms and I might as well put gas in my car. Hey, I have a Sam's Club membership and I have to be up there anyway so why not? I've decided that I will probably use the membership for non perishable items. Perhaps I'll even start eating breakfast since it'll be cheaper buying it all in bulk. Also toiletries in bulk comes in handy. I'd much rather work at/have a membership to Costco, since it's a better company overall, but since I don't have any connections there, it's rather difficult to get a job. Plus, people are happy there so they tend to stay longer. Oh well. It is what it is. Alright, I need to eat something. I also want to get in some YouTube or Hulu video watching before I crash for the night. Until tomorrow. . . Comment! (0) | Recommend! Pros vs cons Wednesday. 8.7.13 8:21 pm Pros: More money. New environment. New people. More active. Better sleep. Cons: Less free time. For now, that's the only con I seem to have. Having less free time isn't necessarily a bad thing. It just means that I won't be sitting on my ass complaining about being bored every afternoon. The new environment/people thing could be considered a con, but only until I adjust. Once I'm used to the routine, it won't be bad. Thus far, it looks like I'll be working around 60-62 hours a week between the two jobs, which is a lot, but manageable. It'll just make me cherish my free time even more. I already look forward to my days off. Now, that feeling will be genuine. Regular work wasn't too bad. Things went back to normal today so I didn't have to worry about dealing with people I'm not used to working with. Tomorrow is technically my Friday, but it'll be filled with both jobs. Friday is looking better and better by the hour. Until tomorrow. . . Comment! (1) | Recommend! Almost ... there. . . Tuesday. 8.6.13 8:09 pm Two more days of work before my weekend. One more day {that I'm aware of} for computer based training at Sam's Club. I know for sure I'll have Friday off. It's a payday Friday so I'll be busy for a good chunk of the day. Sleeping in is the first thing on that list. All else can wait. I got a postcard from randomjunk! She addressed it to LostSoul13, which I found pretty awesome. It definitely made me smile at the end of my second long day this week. Thanks RJ! Unless something significant happens, I will most likely keep these entries short so that I can kind of relax and hang out before I need to go to bed. So that's it for today. Until tomorrow. . . Comment! (0) | Recommend! Goodbye free time Monday. 8.5.13 8:09 pm Oh my goodness. It is going to take a good month before I'm finally used to not having any personal time. Friday will be my only true day off and that will be consumed with running errands. The other days? They will either consist of working one or both jobs. I'm already exhausted and I've barely started training! <~~ that's probably how I'm going to feel by the time my vacation comes around. Crazy in the head, but extremely happy with the amount of money saved up for the trip. Buying pants and shoes will have to wait until Friday. I don't want to have to go to the mall after being out of the house for 14 hours. I may go Thursday, depending on whether I'm scheduled for more training. Thus far, I only know tomorrow and Wednesday. So we'll see how that goes. Until then, I'm fine wearing my jeans a couple more times. Alright, I want to get a couple videos on YouTube and Hulu in {especially before the Hulu shows expire} before calling it a night. Until tomorrow. . . Comment! (1) | Recommend! Welcome back summer Sunday. 8.4.13 5:22 pm It didn't take long for it to get back in to the 80s. Yesterday was nice, but today is hot. It'll be like this all week again. Oh well. I knew the rain break was short lived and it definitely felt nice. Hopefully it doesn't go another month without raining ... although it would be kind of cool to break the record for longest dry streak, which is 51 days. I got most of the shopping done that I needed to today. I got the pants sent out to my sister and the gift sent out to my mom. I also got a few new shirts, a couple new bras, some new undies and a few pairs of socks. All necessary things. The only thing I didn't get is pants/shorts/capris. The selection at Target is really not fantastic right now. So I will be stopping at the mall tomorrow after I finish with my orientation to see if I can't find myself at least one pair of pants that I can wear comfortably and without looking like I came straight out of a flower garden. Alright, I am going to go relax some more and see if I can get to bed at a reasonable time tonight. Until tomorrow. . . Comment! (0) | Recommend! Thanks Google. Saturday. 8.3.13 5:11 pm I find it amusing and slightly annoying that any time I Google search something, it remembers that and places strategic ads on the websites I go to, such as YouTube. Now, I know that YouTube is tied in with Google, which is why the ads show up there all the time, but I would still like some kind of variety. Hulu, for instance, shows completely random ads that have nothing to do with anything I'm ever interested it. They have surveys every once in a while to see if they can better cater the ads to you, but it's never something I'm interested in. It's too bad Google and YouTube can't be that way. The odds of me ever actually hitting an ad, on purpose, are less than slim to none. The only time I ever click on them is when my cursor isn't directly over the 'x' when I click. Or if I'm trying to pause the video I'm watching without looking where I'm clicking. Anywho, I was supposed to go shopping today, but that's not happening. I just got lazy. I slept in, which felt good, but it didn't exactly help motivate me to go out and be productive. Tomorrow, however, I'll get everything done that I was meaning to do today. I have to get used to not napping after work anyway. If I'm going to be working 20-25 hours a week, with only 4-5 hours a day, then I'll be working pretty much every day I wrote down that I'm available for. So starting tomorrow, I'll have to up my productivity and cut back on my lethargy. We'll see how that goes. . . Until then. . . Comment! (1) | Recommend!
